I don't know, that website doesn't seem very legit.juden41It's run by a guy who used to work at G4, and before that worked at Gamespy. His name is recognized in game journalism circles.
If you think there was a chance of any handheld in the near future being even close to the PS3 you are nuts. The GC had decent power for being put into a handheld.I saw a similiar post saying the ds2 would have the power of the ps3.. which seemed rather exciting but for it to have the power of the gamecube.. its a bit meh imo.

I actually preferred GTA:Chinatown Wars on the DS to GTA 4 on the "bigger"systems...Regardless of how powerfull it is, it doesnt matter because the DS has the crappiest games. Unless R* release a GTA that is 3D and not birdseye

GCN performance would actually be pretty decent for a handheld device. It's virtually impossible to make a "portable PS3" with current technology.
well you could probably get the PS3 hardware into a laptop...so that would technically make it a portable :P.You mean like this:
:P
I've said it before, I'll say it again, they don't need to be concentrating on power so much as functionality. Being a nintendo handheld still counts for something, but the next h/held will probably not have the same rubiks cube craze following the ds has enjoyed, especially if they are still lagging behind in features in comparison with the iphone and the portable media devices that will certainly still be around and will only improve as time goes on. Having the power of a gc is all well and good but if all you are still offering is games for £24.99 as opposed to hundreds of thousands of games and applications for next to nothing, a phone, better media support, full internet, the casual crowd is going to go elsewhere.
