I would rather wait for modders to fix this game.
You know a game is glitchy when a patch creates more problems.

Because if it was less buggy and had a better combat system and UI (on PC), it would have been 100. Oh frickin' snap! How does this game have a 95 on Metacritic again?
Tangmashi
well sucks cause i was really getting into skyrim, but i guess its somewhat good so maybe my other games will actually get some play time lol
[QUOTE="DarkLink77"]Only Skyrim fans can some how manage to turn a clear negative issue of the game into some twisted positive . Got to hand it to Skyrim fanboys.I guess that's what blind worship fanboyism is all about! Its amazing how Bethesda gets so many free passes to release so many broken games Wow. :|Dynamic dragons are not a bug, bro. They're a feature.

it warms my heart to see gamers congratulating each other over sub-standard quality and half-baked efforts. this industry is so going places with such savvy consumers.

the game is incredible, too bad such an awesome games is made by a company that thinks is ok to release things half done

and only you would fail to see it was a joke, blind hate is just as dumb as being a fanboy.
I doubt they use QA for patches...and you really cant blame them for the errors that a patch do, after all a patch is just a bunch of code, there are no magical lens of truth that will tell the dev if the code they used will screw something upthis is only proofe bethesda QA is run by monkeys

Alright, so now we can expect the next patch to fix the problems introduced in this latest patch. We're getting some where! Don't worry, for in the next 1000 years Bethesda will have most of Skyrim's problems fixed. Master_ShakeXXXYeah, exactly. After the amount of bugs and glitches I have found in this game, I can't honestly say this is GOTY, although I wish it was. I guess I will now play it next year after wasting 200 and almost finishing the game.

Bethesda realized that Skyrim wasn't up to their standard so they had to fix it. By making it nigh unplayable. But seriously how do you set out to fix technical performance issues and end up messing up elemental resistances and dragons :SAce6301
because your bethesda.
Look at Fo3 DLC's each one launched near enough completely broken and in the case of the pitt im sure even unplayable full stop xD.

calll me strange but i have nevr had many issues with bethesda games, i have a feeling it has a lot to do with overwriting old saves, i never do that, i always chhose a fresh slot for game saves and delete the oldest save at the same time, i never even had a corrupt savegame with farcry 2.[QUOTE="Ace6301"]Bethesda realized that Skyrim wasn't up to their standard so they had to fix it. To be fair they've improved since Oblivion. Shivering Isles had something considerably more gamebreaking than this patch. On the plus side with the resistances gone if you are a werewolf you now have the perfect opportunity to become a werepire.
The funny thing is that chances are a lot of people here haven't experienced the issue themselves. We figure this is just another good chance to rip on Bethesda. Normally after saying something like this, I would lead on with something like "this board is better than this." But then I'd just be lying there. It's really not. Personally, I never used or cared for resistance spells. But backwards dragons? Hell I wish I had that! It just adds in a unpredictable dimension during fights. :PdrinkerofjuiceThe resistance stuff counts for everything though not just the spells, it affects race abilities, perks, enchantments, birthsigns, disease and poison resistance, npcs: if you summon a flame antioch it can be killed by a flame spell (meaning you can't expect it to tank damage while you're shooting off flame spells anymore).... it can break a good chunk of the game depending on how you play (personally dragonlords are now litterally impossible as a melee character) although at the same time you can probably take advantage of it (werepire).
If you're playing on the PC note that the beta version of the Skyrim Script Extender includes a fix which reportedly fixes patch 1.2's resistance bug.
Guys, its BETHESDA. The one company in the world I'm sure doesn't even have QA or bug testers.
Obsidian does have testers I think, but considering the state of their games I think they secretly hate the company they test the games for and just do everything they can to make it even buggier then possible. That's my hypothesis.
Pretty much sums up the treatment of certain devs compared to others.[QUOTE="xXShortroundXx"]
If this was any other game, people would be using it as hate material, but it's ok for Skyrim haha.
Kiro0
when certain devs learn to make decent games, they will get the same treatment, you know why is hard to hate skyrim even though bethesda does its best for us to? because its a good game. shocking!

WM28 would be a lot more epic if the match was not decided beforehand. Still, since it's in Rocks home town Cena will not make it out alive anyway :P
It might be weird, but the only glitch I have an issue with so far post patch is the damn bookshelf glitch where I can't rearrange them after putting them in, and if I take them out then I'm unable to organize any more books in that shelf. Its dumb, and dammit I like a house that looks nice so I'm sorry if I remove extra copies of books for cool, newer books Skyrim.
Dammit, damn these gamebreaking bugs that ruin my fun and compulsion for orderliness.
whats bothering me is the mixed results everyone i having, some people are having problems, some people are not having probles and some people are hving problems but not the same ones as other people and that's all witht the same game on the same platform. It might be weird, but the only glitch I have an issue with so far post patch is the damn bookshelf glitch where I can't rearrange them after putting them in, and if I take them out then I'm unable to organize any more books in that shelf.
