Its not 100% accurate but it shows the general direction in which people are spending their money. I am seeing a lot of "PS3 comeback threads" so I felt I should bring this to their attention because clearly they aren't seeing this site. Check every week in september - november and see where our industry is going.

After this, I expect a lot of "PS3 improving" instead of "PS3 comeback" threads. Just want to make SW less opinionated and more factual.

No one can deny that PS3 has struggled this year but for the past month or two I have seen PS3 improving interms of price, games and advertises. Next year PS3 will make a comeback due to the release of it's killer-app francises; MGS4, GT5, FF13 etc. Despite it's problems I reckon PS3 has sold well this year with-out it's main franchises, I do believe Sony can meet their target of 11 million sold by end of fiscal year.

The ps3 is making a big comeback in japan, and also north America, so why shouldn't cows be allowed to celebrate?naruto_0000

They are implying that they are overtaking the competition, and on a worldwide basis, they are not.

im not trying to be a fanboy but when the ps3 was beating the 360 on VG everybody said that it was fake but now its a close apreximantion

u should wait till the 13 th that wen npd numbers are realeased a 100% correct to and 100% reliable

VGchartz=guesstimates its been 100k's off on one console's sales in 1 month in the US alone.

You know, you can't use VGchartz at your leisure, when it best suits your point. Either use it all the time through the good and the bad or don't use it at all and wait for NPDs and Media Create numbers to come out.Tiefster
