Buh buh Wii is not next gen!

Seriously, the whole Wii graphics debate is getting old.Yes I think us sheep are aware that current Wii games generally do not look that great, but Zelda was a testament to the Wii's graphical capabilities, and they were not even that amazing compared to PS3, 360 and PC games. Seriously though, Smash Bros Brawl is shaping up to be one ofthe best looking Wii game so far this year, however Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy (although we have not seen many new screens for SMG in a while) are all looking great. Zelda looked great and it was also on the GC, if the Cube can handle those graphics, then no doubt the Wii can handle twice that much and I seriously can't complain, because current games still in development that will be hitting the market this year are looking great

But where is the 3rd party support? They are all still busy making their exclusives like No More Heroes, Boogie, MySims, Dewy's Adventure, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Sadness, Raid Over The River, Orband multiplat games like Beautiful Katamari, Guitar Hero 3, Madden 08 and many others are going to be great. True we might not be seeing much right now for the Wii, but lots of games are stillin development and probably will not be unveiled until E3.

Then get your head out of the sand and do some research. Sadness is still in development and probably will not be out until spring of next year, the team making the game has been struggling to find someone who can work with them to make the game the way they want it, but their last partner got annoyed and left. Raid Over The River is still in conception by Nibris, the same team making Sadness, so it has not had a lot of work done on it, although I think there is some stuff out there on the internet on the game. Boogie is being made by EA, as is MySims (which is also on the DS), its kind of a funky dance game involving the Wiimote, although I think there is more to it then just dancing.

Xbox was last gen, too. And it's not more powerful than that. The only specs that ever leaked on the net show that the CPU and the GPU both are slower than Xbox's.

There was a thread yesterday saying "new gen" was better than "next gen." I wish you sheep would make up your minds; is the Wii in competition with the PS3 and 360 or not? You cant change arguements depending on bad reviews/good sales figures. Geez.Ninja-Vox

The thing is, that even within the same fanboy category, each individual has their own mind and they're not in constant contact, thus making the possiblity of all fanboys in a particular group agreeing on something impossible.

What I find funny is you are surprised that people will attack the Wii in System Wars. The TC attempted to make the Wii look amazing, others have a right to oppose that viewpoint. Apparently it's you who need to recheckwhat forum youare posting in and how it works.

I don't recall a game by Suda51 ever flopping, Killer 7 was one of the most interesting games of last gen and Suda51 is making No More Heroes and probably all other games Wii exclusive and that is one developer a console maker would love to have on their side. GS has been pretty hyped about Boogie, first impressions sound like its going to be hella fun and I think that is the whole point of games in the first place.

Also, I am not saying any of those games will be AAAA, but they sure as hell are going to be great. Go back and play your prissy 360/PS3 you stuck up troll, maybe once you get your head out of the mud and open your eyes, you will finally realise that the Wii is the next PS2 of gaming and that all your pretty little graphics are not going to beat out the future of gameplay.
