Bloodborne Loading Times, Framerate Patch Coming April

Today, we wanted to provide some more information regarding the next patch for Bloodborne.

As we confirmed previously, the 1.03 update seeks to reduce certain load times in addition to performance optimisations. The patch also resolves an issue that resulted in abnormal game behavior after many continuous hours of play. Additional fixes will be included as well.

The team is currently working towards a global release of the 1.03 patch before the end of the month. We will try to provide more specific timing as soon as we are able.

We’re continuing to monitor popular communities and forums for feedback, in addition to the comments below, so please share any other issues or questions you may have.

Please note, online play will need to be disabled for a short period of time to facilitate server-side updates. In this case, and in the case of any future server maintenance downtime, it has been determined that starting at 9am GMT on a non-Friday weeknight will disrupt the fewest players globally. We will target this time for any necessary future server maintenance downtime, which will only last a couple hours in each instance.

So, to summarize:

• Will launch by month end
• Fixes frame rate
• Fixes loading times
• Fixes the difficulty bug
• Open to more feedback (so go spam the comments section about changing the way PvP works)

It should boost the frame rate to 60fps. Seriously, there's no reason that the 4 couldn't do it. From Soft sucks at optimization, and their reputation for it shows.

Where is matchmaking fix? WHERE IS MATCHMAKING FIX?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Hello? Where is this at, FROM? I really hope its being fixed but wasn't mentioned because its by far the worst matchmaking in the series. Not being able to pvp or even connect with friends to coop Chalice Dungeons is a serious flaw, the biggest flaw in this game...

For me, it's not a huge problem, but it is there. Often when playing Bloodborne and seeing a load screen it's after a fairly intense period of action so it gives me a chance to have a sip of my coffee etc. From Software are not the kings of optimisation or graphics, we all know that. They are the kings of tight action games and immense atmosphere.

Having a great time with Bloodborne. It's on a par with DS2 for me, which was my fave Souls game.

You clearly missed SSOD, FH2, Halo MCC, Ori and the Blind forest, screamride, KI2, Fantasia music evolved, project spark. But keep thinking Xbox One is doing bad in games ;)

lets name multiplats, garbage titles and games that came out ages ago. lems seem as desperate as MS is for sales. But you want to know the best part? You mentioned broken Sony games in your original post, THE mention MCC to counter my argument LOL. The definition of broken is MCC rofl. We've received a lot of broken titles since 2013 but this, this is the ultimate title launched in a bangedup state.

Cool! Honestly the framerate for me wasnt an issue but the loadings, considering the many times I died, got old quite fast. At least they should put some info on those screens instead of just a logo.

Great news, especially the performance fixes, sure the load times are a pain in the ass too but performance is the bigger issue imo. It's great that they're fixing the memory leaks for bosses, though it probably means there'll be a lot of people out there getting nasty shocks when fighting some bosses are their full power for the first time.

Thank god...despite the fact what I did play of the game seemed awesome, the loading times were unbearable. I actually put the game on the back-burner due to them.
