Bioshock Infinite IGN review score is up PC definitive version confirmed

They agve the game a highly respectable and not all too shocking 9.4 on consoles and actually gave the PC version 9.5. Making it THE version of the game to get it would seem :cool:

Considering I would probably only be able to run low settings for this game, I still think I better off getting the PS3 version, so whatever still very impressive on all fronts.:P

this game sounds like exactly what the franchise needs. bioshock 1 was the pinnacle of last generation, but 2 felt underwhelming to say the least.

Well if you guys played the previous Bioshock games you would know that it's a trust worthy franchise of quality :) I think this one might have been almost fair ;3

Yeah, 2 was a bit underwhelming. But that's because it wasn't made by the same people. Ken Levine and Irrational games made Bioshock, then 2k wanted a sequel, so they had one of their in-house studios make it (2k Marin, I believe). Irrational and Levine had little, if anything, to do with Bioshock 2, and have been working on Infinite since before 2 launched.

I think you would enjoy it. Seems like the kind of game you pick up and really enjoy right to the end. Although IGN did say it feels a little padded in the middle which I am not looking forward to

I'm going to wait for more reviews and people's reactions before I do anything. 

Quite an evolution from the horror of System Shock 2 to this.

I'd say there's probably little point in spending the money to pick up Infinite at full price if you haven't at least played Bioshock 1. I don't think the stories are connected, but Bioshock is just way too good. One of those "must-play" games. And it'll be a great introduction into the style of the Bioshock games. 2 is also a great game, but skippable, if you want to save time. It wasn't made by Irrational, and it shows. The introduction of dual-weilding plasmids and guns was fantastic, though. Totally how it should have been in the first one.

i'm pretty sure i'd enjoy it. i'm mostly interested in the setting and the relationship between booker and elizabeth. thing is, i have a lot of games to play. NEW games, that i've just bought. so it might be wiser to just wait until it's cheaper.BrunoBRS

Maybe, you can see how actual gamers react to it too. And that's basically what I wanna see too, I actually dont' care about the gameplay side of things, I know what to expect. I just wanna see the world and walk around

I wouldnt be surprised at all if you see a PS4 version , they will be easy ports to the new consoles.
