Throughout gaming history there have been a lot of bad@$$3|) villains and so i would like to know who or what my fellow gamespotters think is the best (not necesarily the most cruel) villain in gaming history. For me, I d have to say donkey kong. He wasn t as evil as a lot of the other main villains but he was the godfather of the "save the damsel in distress" fad which had a part in inspiring other villains like Ganon. Also, he turned out to be an OK guy that spawned off a lot of games staring nintendo's lovable gorilla. So, who do YOU think is the best villain in video-game history?

That's a tough one, I'd expect the majority to say either Ganondorf or Sephiroth. I'm gonna go with Virgil from Devil May Cry 3.

Kefka FTW he was evil and heartless, killing an entire city with poison just for kicks.

Sephiroth was a nobody who you only fight at the end for 10 min. plus he had major edipus complex issues.

Ridley is one evil creature. Most would think that Ridley is a plain mindless creature, but that is not the case. He is actually highly intelligent, and plots against the Galactic Federation while leading the evil space pirates. He is very tolerant of injuries, and each time he is defeated by Samus, he is not killed, but mortally wounded. While he recovers from his injuries, he plans his next attack on the Galaxy, never to busy to slow down and attemt his revenge on Samus.
*SPOILERS* It is a shame that he died in Metroid Fusion, I thought he was nearly invincible. Most of the upcoming Metroid games however, will probably have the story take place before Fusion.

Dracula of course.Panzer_Zwei

No way. Death is way more deadly ( heh heh heh, get it, Death, deadly?) and has cooler moves, plus he can keep popping up and scaring the bejesus out of you. Or are you referring to a different Dracula then the one from Castlevania?

The worst villian of all time in gaming is the fanboy. They'll spoil your fun before or even after you have completed the game. The second worst villians are cheaters. They have now evolved into the butt-heads that campout at respawn points.

People, people, people......It's Kefka from FFVI.

He poisoned an entire country's water supply, killing them all. Then he became a god and shot a beam of light out of his tower at anyone who disobeyed.
