Wouldn't it better for Dice to just focus on the multiplayer? They could have made two or three (I would think) more multiplayer maps rather than making a half-baked campaign.
If dice can't make a good battlefield sp with Battlefield 1, they are not fit to make a single player campaign for Battlefront. With Dice just showing a trailer so close to its release just proves it.

Hopefully campaign spoilers don't leak before release.
I'm buying into 3 shooters this holiday. BF1 isn't one of them. And my guess is despite this "hype," BF1 will be behind Destiny, COD and Titanfall 2 in sales as well. All the YouTube video watching and liking isn't going to save this game.

Agreed. Aside from the original Bad Company, all of the BF campaigns have been extremely mediocre and this looks more of the same.
Unfortunately, like @with_teeth26 mentioned, DICE will get hammered for not having a campaign like Battlefront. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
By a video of a Battlefield single-player where they show barely any gameplay? To get hyped by this, you just have to have a terrible taste in games. I skipped through all that idiotic cgi only to find a few seconds of gameplay. If that even was gameplay.
I'm probably getting the game for the multi-player. No idea why they're wasting time on a single-player that's crappy and no one plays.

not even mirrors edge has good SP that is only SP franchise. new one failed and old mirrors edge was not good either.
I hate military shooters anyways. take too much serious, patriotic main character, you do nothing but follow commands and "on your feet soldiers" etc
Nope. It's your average GI Joe style of movie that doesn't have any depth in its story. The fact that it's one-sided (British) and no German perspective (another typical world war game where Germany is the only enemy) and that it doesn't include the Christmas truce just doesn't initiate any hype. Having seen Joyeux Noel which is one of the best war films ever made and having played Valiant Hearts by Ubisoft just makes this pale in comparison to the depth the 2 works told stories of WW1.
Yeah, a german campaign would have been nice, but I guess dice is to afraid to be called fascist if they did such a thing, cause kids nowadays can't tell a difference between world war 1 Germans and Nazies during world war 2. For them all Germans are all nazi scum who need to be eradicated.

@lordlors - Germany isn't the only enemy. Did you even play the Beta? you play as a turk in the beta map (Turks being known as the Ottoman Empire before the end of the first world war). We have been told of combat in the Alps, which was predominantly the Austrian / Hungarian Empire facing off against the Italians.
We know the FIRST DLC is the Harlem Hellfighters (American Perspective there) and Verdun is the second major expansion (French vs the Germans.
Don't worry buddy, its not just from one perspective.

The Central Powers lost (Kind of) ... which lead directly to world war 2 via national hatred for the Treaty of Versailles.
I know this isn't what you meant but it was too good an opportunity to waste :P

True that but Bad Company 2 was decent imo and i liked BF3's campaign only because i got to invade my own country lol, still feel guilty for enjoying that :D

i agree CoD has been better overall, but the latest entries were crap ....for one, compare MW2's campaign with that shitty Ghost's campaign.

Nah no German perspective there. No Austro-Hungarians either. It's the same old Allied powers are the good guys and rule stuff taken from WW2 and applied to WW1. This is BF and no Specter Ops The Line. There will be no depth to the story. It's going to be all action feel good **** yeah America style. Ottomans? Lol They are the weakest Central Power and just joined the side of the Germanic peoples because of their disdain of Britain in the Middle East. If you want to see what it's like having multiple perspectives for a video game go play Valiant Hearts. It's pretty clear you haven't played the game.
Did you play the Battlefield 3 and 4 campaigns? Those games also had cool single player trailers, but ended up being straight up terrible. Falling for something like this overly cinematic and nonsensical trailer is just silly. Also, the fact that they are just NOW showing off the campaign less then a month before release should have warning bells sounding off in your head.
