I did read it, I just don't understand why you don't want people to vote AAA in the poll, when you said I want to know what people think, you might as well of not made a poll at all.

How much sense does it make to say people can hype it AAA, but can't vote it AAA in a poll? I think you need to go back to grade school.

exactly. he's treating people with discrimination, so he can get as much votes in the range he prefers as he wants. if you want to hype it A or AA, you can vote. if you want to hype it higher or lower, you can't vote. that's ridiculous.

or you provide the possibility for vote to everyone, like people usually do in SW with multiple options in the poll, or you don't include a poll at all.

and just because he stated his reasons in the OP doesn't mean that i have to agree with them.

I'm guessing 7.5.

I am excited for the game based on one reason: It says Banjo-Kazooie on the box. The demo didn't really give me that classical Banjo feeling, but had a charm all on it's own. I am reasonably excited for it.

if it's obvious that it won't achieve AAA why would there be a problem to include the option? like there's a problem in a poll with, for example, 30 votes for AA, 10 for A and 5 for AAA, 15 for under A. which one won? AA clearly. not being able to vote in your own choice is not being able to vote at all. that's what i'm saying, and that's why the poll is biased from the start.

even games like Lair and Haze had the crazy hypers that hyped it AAA, and that's what made SW fun to lemmings in the days when those games flopped.

If Rare had focused more on the platforming, this could have been easily an AAA.

you know thats nearly impossible to do with half of the old threads + the original hype thread gone. i do know this though. as far back as i can trace, your hype was 8.5 or AA. why did you change it to 7.5? surely you dont think it will be that bad. then again rachet and clank....

Ok, let me present a small scenario, here is a mini poll i will conduct:

Does this poll reek of desperation?

a: No, never!

b: Nope.

Explain to me how this is different than your poll, that is all.

Btw, i don't dissagree with the hype, but that is not what this is about, and am sure you know that. Also, the mini poll is just an example and does not necesarily portray the views of the author :)

For anyone complaining about the lack of AAA option in the poll, here's why.

Fanboys on apposing forces who want to see the game flop, will vote AAA. Its easy because everyone is anonymous in a poll and there are no consequences or traces of a user when voting. So people will vote AAA, and even if the game scores AA it will be considered a flop and fanboys will run their mouthes and it will be hell when it could of been avoided. Bioshockownz was smart in creating this poll with only AA and A options, if true fanboys of Banjo want to hype it AAA they can do so by posting in this thread.

My hype for the game is 7.5. I'll be honest, when we first saw the game a few years ago I thought AAA for sure, then we saw gameplay videos and my hype went down to AA, and then I played the demo and its now 7.5.

I think it could get anything from 6.5 and 9.0 because of the unique aspect of the game, as well as the nostalgia connected with the older games (could hurt or help depending on the review). However, my "official" hype would be AA.

why does it matter if the game flops at all? youre still going to buy it arent you? if so, then what does it matter if people hype it as AAA? this is just like the socom:confrontation incident. people whined about the score it got, and tried to say it wasnt a flop even though it didnt meet the hype it got. yet, they still went out and got the game anyway. if youre still going to go out and buy the game, why should anyone care if anyone hypes it AAA or more?

That's why its called Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts instead of Banjo Threeie... its not truly a sequel, the same way that COD:WAW is not COD5.

I was amused by the demo for many hours, so i expect the full game to occupy a lot more of my time, which means its wroth a buy for me.

back around e3 this was hyped the mario killer but now no one ever said it would be AAA .... sure bud

i still hype it trash because its not banjo in my eye but a lot of other fans may not agree with me and all the other banjo games were AAA that in its self gives grounds for AAA hype

After playing the demo I expect the score on gamespot to be somewhere between 7.5 - 8.0. However, I really enjoyed the demo and preordered the game as soon as I finished playing it. After I get the full game, it will most likely be an 8.5 - 9.0 in my eyes, assuming the demo represents much of the full product.
