Are you *currently* satisfied with your 8th gen console(s)?

Currently...As in RIGHT NOW. As in the current 8th gen games that are out right now, not looking or thinking about the games coming soon.

For PS4. Eh....I dunno. I bought my PS4 for Bloodborne, Tearaway: Unfolded, The Order: 1886, LittleBigPlanet 3, Skylanders, Mortal Kombat X, etc. Games like Persona 5, DBZ Xenoverse, etc, have me excited....However, The only PS4 games that I own that I actually care about are LittlebigPlanet 3 and Skylanders: Trap Team...So no. I'm not satisfied with my PS4 right now.

For Xbox One...All I need is a new Banjo-Kazooie adventure game and the purchase will be worth every penny.

For Wii U...Uh...I really enjoy it. But I can't truly say I'm satisfied with it until I get my hands on Zelda U, a Pokemon RPG, and a new Animal Crossing. So...I'm not 100% satisfied with it. But I'm almost there.

What about you? Can you honestly say that your currently satisfied with your 8th gen purchases?

None of the big three I would consider being satisfied right now as a launch owner of all three.

Nintendo releasing a year earlier in 2012 is the closest to me being "satisfied", but still fall short imo.

I'm hoping 2015 delivers where 2014 failed for me.

I was very happy with all the games that made me buy both the x1 and the wiiu, so yeah Im definitely satisfied.

Yes, aside from the fact I barely get any time to play it (Wii U).

But that's not the console's fault. That's life.

I'm enjoying all of them. My PS4 gets the most play time, due to FFXIV and multiplats.

Well I only have an Xbone atm... and so far I'm enjoying it. However I'm getting a bit bored lately with lack of games :(

I'm pretty satisfied with my Wii U. I got plenty to play, and there's plenty more I want to get. It's getting a lot of play time.

Quite happy with everything. I don't exactly have a ton of games to play on PS4 but I still have several worthwhile ones and catching up on my PS3 backlog via PS Now is good enough for me until more comes out.

I only have PS4 this gen and am satisfied. I've actually got a bit of a backlog. That said, I don't have more than maybe 1-2 hours a day to play. I do research before I buy a game and then I play it for months at a time. I have a dozen games on my PS4 and frankly, after a year and a half of being on the market, that's nearly triple the amount of games I've had for a new system from past gens.

Satisfied in owning a PS4 and Xbox One, although I just wish I had the time to play them.

Well, haven´t turned on my PS4 in a month because I don´t have many games to play in it, actually I´m more satisfied with my previous gen consoles.

Nope for the PS4.

Though I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought these consoles.

- I knew the WiiU would have plenty of good/great exclusives with droughts in-between. That's already in full effect.

- I knew the PS4 would be a slow start, but eventually get some great stuff. The great stuff starts next month.

PS4: I bought it because i knew The Last of Us was coming and i didnt buy it on PS3. So far im happy i bought one, but it really needs some quality exclusives.......and games in general.

XB1: Bought one because of the all-in-one features and Horizon 2. Slightly less happy with this than the PS4 since i dont use the all-in-one features as much as i thought i would. Still awesome to have everything running through one hub though.

Nope. My Wii U gamepad stopped charging and now I have to buy a new cable to use the gamepad. Y'know, i'm probably just going to stuff the gamepad somewhere and forget about it. Don't need it for Bayo 2, tropical freeze or Mario Kart. Hope I don't need it for Zelda.

Once Zelda comes out and I play it, i'll be fully satisfied.

I don't have one yet but I'm sure I will be satisfied.

I mean, MGS5, Uncharted 4, Persona 5, Batman, SFV?

Pretty pleased with my Wii U. Beat Bayonetta and thought I'd marathon Bayonetta 2 but I got burned out so I'm taking a break. Gonna beat Windwaker HD first.

And I really really really hope a PS4 price drop or really enticing bundle drops between now and the release of Bloodborne.

I'm currently 50% jaded and 50% know a console doesn't really get rolling until a couple years in.

I regret buying my Wii U. I bought it for Super Smash Bros. and that turned out to be a massive fucking disappointment. This hunk of plastic is literally collecting dust on my desk, and the fact that bloodborne is only 2 months away makes my blood boil. What kind of state of idiocy was I on when I decided shelling out $400 for this was a good idea. I have never felt such regret in my entire life.

PS4's lineup should be really amazing by the end of 2015. Wii U's lineup is already amazing.

Yes, it's fine but I don't game on it too often. I do enjoy watching Netflix on it sometimes but other than that I do most of my gaming on PC.

Beyond content with my Wii U. Its the most satisfying console I've played in years. Probably since the GameCube.

Wii U? Yes. Smash alone justified the $300 for me. Can't forget MK8 and Zelda WW.

PS4? Eh... I'm okay with it. Not worth the $400 I originally paid but I certainly don't regret getting it early. TLoUR is amazing. Big year ahead.

Xbox One? Less satisfied with it than the PS4. I need Gears and soon. Hoping for a new Conker and a 3rd person splinter cellish Perfect Dark game. Also a big year ahead. I'll get multiplats here that are not on PC simple because of the controller preference and achievements.

I'm still sad that Nintendo dropped the ball with 3rd Party Support for WiiU.

Consoles are fine (minus the Xbone GUI), but games are severely lacking. One year in last gen we had GRAW, Gears, Oblivion, and Dead Rising. All felt like next gen experiences.

Nothing feels like that on any of the new consoles.

Same old Nintendo problem: Wish it had more 3rd party games but that's why I guess I need to upgrade my computer or purchase a PS4. Aside from that, Wii U is pretty fantastic.

Yes for the XBOX One. NHL, FIFA, Forza and Halo make me a happy gamer. Trying out Sunset Overdrive when I get home in around 3 hours.

I'm satisfied. I jumped early to current generation to play console games with improved visuals, at native 1080p and better performance. That's exactly what i'm getting.

Generation defining games take time to come, but we already have some very good options (Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age Inquisition, Far Cry 4, etc). Personally it has also been a good oportunity to play great games i missed last gen (The Last of Us, Diablo 3 and Metro Redux).

Hardly, I'm mixed on the exclusives these systems provide, even the Wii U as I wouldn't consider certain games that were called great to even be that great at all. Having that said, these consoles will take off this year and will be worth it in the long run.

Enjoying the PS4 at the moment, currently playing TLOU, finished Second Son already. I might get another 8th gen console but I don't yet know which one.

Gotten plenty of usage out of my Wii U thus far, still some good game sto look forward to for the system as well. Don't regret owning it at all. Only regret is getting it as early as I did and missing out on the WW bundle but whatever. Atleast I was able to get WW HD for free with the MK8 deal.

Xbox one owner. Satisfied. Pretty decent library given its short life, no hardware issues, Ui and controller I personally enjoy, frequent updates to system features. Kinnect and T.v integration keeps things interesting and makes a great family orientated console when Im with my kids, they love it.

Give me the superior version of fallout 4 and il shit my pants with joy.

So far so good, I know some people harp on about how the 8th gen console are a disappointment with the titles but I don't recall any console that had such a good first year of releases as both the Xbox One or PS4.

The only 8th gen console I have is the Wii U. My answer is both yes and no. I'm loving the exclusives and I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase in that regard. Nintendo always delivers in the exclusives department. I'm not satisfied with the limited(or gimpy) 3rd party offerings. I'd be buying Assassin's Creed, along with a multitude of others if they were on the system.

The only game I regret buying is GTA5 remastered. Own PS4 and it's everything it was said to be and even better (only draw back the idiotic inability to play movies from hard/thumb drive).

For a first year it's WAY better than past consolre releases (people keep neglecting launch prep). Multiplats are excellent and indine and exclusive content is already at a good selection.

This year is starting off with NEW high profile IPs starting this month. Regardless of this thread talking about "now" we NOW know the games coming out in the immediate future and that makes me satisfied knowing this.

Reality, this is exclusive to the system I own and releases next month...drink it in!!!!!

A game of this caliber to be released as an exclusive and at the start of the year with the vsat majority of other high profile games all set to release as the best version any console can provide for PS4 with other exclusives pilled on as icing on top? Lol, I'd buy the PS4 again if I didn't already do it before now.

I would be massively disappointed at the outlook of any other system right now in comparison to PS4 TBH.

I just came back from purchasing the One so I could play KI and MKX with some buds soon. I don't believe I will be disappointed since I'm using it for FGS primarily.

I haven't turned on my Wii U in over two months, so no. I can't say I didn't see it coming though, because the only reason I got it was so that I could play super smash online with my bro.

I don't have a reason to buy the other two consoles yet.

I only have an Xbone and I'm very satisfied so far. I've barely touched my pc in months. The OS still needs a lot of work but it's getting there and I'm still catching up on games from last year.

PS4 hasn't gotten much use, but I'm happy to have it for when Bloodborne etc come out.
