One, I think. Since Bungie is done with Halo, I'm no longer committed to the Xbox, so it's an open field next gen. If either Sony or MS tries to copy Nintendo's strategy next gen, however, they're out of the running. My wife will want Nintendo's console, so I'll have that around as well.
Most likely yes but probably not at launch. Of course as things keep getting more technologically advanced with every new console age I will have to consider what every one is offering such as graphics all the way to whether or not online play is free. I plan to keep playing ps3 for quite awhile and I would have to be impressed to pay a good amount for ps4.
i will get all of them eventually. this gen i think i bought all the consoles too early and 2 of them (my PS3 and 360) are basically going unused. the multiplats go to my PC and only a few of the exclusives on each platform have my interest. so next gen i think i will get a new PC and nintendos next console to start out with and then get the PS3 and 720 towards the end of the gen. that way i will have loads of exclsuives to play on those platforms which will be really handy during those dry periods of releases after a consoles launch.
Perhaps. Depends on prices and how will it they rely on HDTVs. If I can't hook them up my PC monitor, then screw it. And ofcourse, if they offer a good value, e.g. good games library, bunch of exclusives etc.
Yes. I'll more than likely get MS' console as it will probably come out first, and get Nintendo's as a secondary console (can't miss out on next-gen Mario and Zelda!). If I have enough room for one more, then I'll get Sony's :D.
Yes and I'm at the point now in this gen that I'm starting to really, really want a new, vastly improved console experience. Can't hardly wait for an announcement detailing the specs and launch games for the next Xbox. :D

It will be exciting. Seriously though, why do some people not want them out until 2015? The casuals make me rage. The consoles would be the equivalent of playing Half Life 1 right now. 2011E3 announcement sounds good.

Obviously they won't be. MS and Sony will learn the hard way if they try. God, I hope :P I want to keep my controllers. I can not picture the current gamers of the respective systems buying into the motion control crap and all of the super casual , Nintendo, Motion fans will probably stick to Nintendo.
Yeah, but I'm torn as to which I'd pick. I'll go with Nintendo if they actually use hardware that is competitive to the competition, I'm tired of missing out on awesome multiplats..
I will be in line for the new Nintendo console at launch, just like I was this gen. As for the other consoles, I'm sure I'llget one or both of them eventually, but unless there are some strong EXCLUSIVES on both sides, I think I'll find it hard to get them all again. There really needs to be something gamewise that sets the next consolses apart, not just these added features like PSN vs. XBL or BR vs HD-DVD.

Some people like extra value in their purchase investment with an extended life cycle in which to enjoy more games without additional upgrade costs. Go figure.
Absolutely, since I will be almost out of College by then I will probably get two. The console Nintendo releases and another one, I am leaning towards MS because they have the Banjo franchise. :P
