the marine side to the last avp was pretty good.

Can't say I'm surprised. I had seen people hyping this game over the past few weeks and was watching trailers/interviews and it looks very mediocre and the weapon sounds and animations are terrible.

Well, I have it. Managed to only pay 24 dollars in real monies for the PS3 version of the game. I wanted the PC version, but all of my friends who are getting it are getting it on the PS3, so I figure if I'm going to suffer, better to suffer with friends.

Either way, if I hate it enough I can trade it in and break even.

Before that they just did like crappy halo ports and stuff.

I'm surprised this game got a 4.5. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but nothing this low. Seems a bit unfair. Scores like that should be reserved for broken, buggy, and hardly playable games. Generally, reviewer opinions don't sway me, so I'll see for myself in the future.

Single player was NOT outsourced to TimeGate. Gearbox just made a crappy game in the end.

The guy reviewing it isn't good with reviews.  Not saying the score is deserved, but he gave RE6 a 4/10 which is silly.  And yes I do believe I could do a better job when he gives bland shooter like halo 4 a 9/10.

Man I really was not expecring score to be THIS low. The lowest I thought this game would get was 6. I didn't expect this game would be completly amazing or anything but man this is bad. How does Gearbox go from making Brothers in Arms and Borderlands to this crap?

This game should of been developed by idsoftware case closed.

the game isnt dark enough like movie.

doom was idsoftware's attempt at aliens without the license.

Multiplayer is really fun, especially escape mode. In fact, if it weren't for the glitches that randomly crop up and dampen the experience I'd recommend it just on the strength of the MP if you can find it below full price. However, it's hard to recommend this game to anyone other than those who really, really want it. And they are probably already getting it. Otherwise, wait for a big price drop.

Campaign is okay so far. Aliens are hit or miss as enemies. When they work, they are impressive and fun to fight, when they don't, and boy do they not sometimes, they are hilariously bad. They feel threatening when they overrun you. They are much, much more threatening when humans are controlling them in versus.

Not really surprised by the score, from the trailers the game just looked terrible. Anything Sega touches these days just turns to poop. I hope one day we will all get an amazing Aliens game that is SURVIVAL HORROR likeCleanPlayer

So Aliens fans, would this be the only good Aliens game in a while?
