A MMORPG going head to head graphically with SP games

Some people may disagree this game looks like its matching even the Witcher 3 in areas. The screen are from Black Desert and I couldn't believe my eyes that a MMO is going head to head with single player games on visual quality. No excuse for other MMO out there to not push to be this good looking unless they were aiming for grandma computer.

Looks far more appealing than this down below but we all know that lol

Black Desert is fucking nuts, Beats almost all console games except for the QTE ones (Ryse/Order)

Black Desert looks very good and the only mmo im interested of at least trying but at the end of the day its just a fking Korean f2p and from what i've heard, people who played it are saying its 'meh'

@godspellwh: why are you posting cherry picked screenshots, that could be promotional bullshots(no link to source) for all this thread knows. When there is alot of gameplay at ultra videos I wonder? In short, learn how to make an OP that is relevant.

Those screens look nice, but looking up gameplay footage shows a different reality.

Black Desert does look amazing.

I think Star Citizen will be the best looking game when that finally drops in 2025.

Knew this was going to be about Black Desert after reading that title. Yeah this game looks epic but I don't think Witcher 3 should be considered as benchmark open world game IMO. The game doesn't even look half as impressive as it used to look before the release of current gen consoles. Focus shifted during development and ended up being primarily a Xbox One title.

Doesn't BDO have really bad view distance and extreme pop-in?

I hope my Titan ZZ Top Edition and Core i7 9790k will still be able to run it at 4k. Can't believe we need more than 32gb ram these days.

Nice looking game. If it's your usual F2P Korean MMO, then i'm not excited at all.

I have never played an interesting korean F2P mmorpg... And this is weird, all of the gameplay videos look nice, but not all that amazing.

You compare a PC exclusive to a multiplat that is built for Xbox One and ported to the other ?

1. These pictures are from users.

2. Console gamers do this with nearly all of their screenshots. Cows exclusively use photomode screens these days. Ingame? Does it make it okay for PC gamers to do it? No, it should be in-game or GTFO for everyone. That being said the game does look rather amazing for a MMO in these user shots.

3. @Pray_to_me PC has more genres than console and i'd rather play an MMO than movie game.
