Why is Epic Number 1?

Bungie should be up there. but only because they have a strong fanbase following.

Epic makes a good engine, but there games aren't that massive.

Nintendo should be number 1. Zelda and Mario pretty much puts them in a league of there own.

Blizzard should be up there.

Top 10 for me personally In terms of power and influence

1- Nintendo EAD
2- Blizzard
3- Valve(because of Steam, The Orange Box, Half Life 2, The Mods- CS, Garry's Mod, and Team Fortress)
4- Bungie(Halo, HUGE Fanbase, Community following unlike anyother)
5- Rockstar North(they have GTA, and they own Midnight Club and even Max Payne)
6- Epic- THe Unreal Engine, and Gears being there massive game...They are absolutely a big dev, just not number 1
7- EA Tiburon- Madden, all the sports games
8- Maxis- Sims and Spore, and its Will WRight
9- Capcom- Resident Evil, and so many other franchises like Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, etc
10- Square Enix- HUGE JRPG dev. How are they not powerful?

Why no Konami ? MGS4 is the definitive game of this gen and it will be fondly looked back on just like we look back to FF7, SM64 etcSwift_Boss_A

If this was in the 1990's Midway would be on that list. But they have sorta fallen.

Sony & Nintendo should be higher on the list too. And who cares for the creators of Sims. And Epic is overated.

And no SE? That's a surprise, honestly. That should take the place of Maxis, IMO.

What about media molecule?
