4 released games on PS4 look better than Ryse PC.

First I have to say Ryse PC version does look amazing especially at a high enough res with good aa, I know for a fact it's very technically competent all around as well as having great art portraying ancient Rome. But it lacked that in your face graphic oomph spectacle I have found in other games, which consequently I would placed beyond Ryse in terms of graphics prowess. So here I find these games more visually impressive at their peak.

Killzone Shadow Fall

Far bigger draw distance, scale, more advanced lighting, more particles, better SSR

Infamous Second Son

Far more polygons, gpu particles, far bigger scale

Drive Club

Crazier effects all around, Dynamic GI, volumetric lighting, fog, dense environment

Alien Isolation

Dynamic GI, dynamic shadows, fluid based fire

And then future titles like The Order and Uncharted 4 already looked better but I wont list them since they aren't released yet. I can say only AC Unity on PC maxed out is in the same ballpark more or less, but that itself is buggy as hell to be called a functional game.

Those games don't even look better than Crysis3 Ultra PC....heck some of them are trumped by AC:Unity Ultra PC, Aliens Isolation Ultra PC, and Metro2 Remastered Ultra PC.

PC is still the best gfx system, and will continue to be every year and gen.

Drive Club for sure. Nothing on pc beats that game. Pc fanboys don't even bother going against that game. That lighting model is simply incredible.

@Heirren: I don't know how driveclub looks, but screenshots he posted are not real gameplay. There are no driving games with camera angles like that and with no hud. And the 2nd screenshot even has black bars lol, which clearly suggests that it's a cgi cinematic.

There's no CGI whatsoever in DC, you clearly don't know shit about the game jhonMalcovich. Everything posted here is all in game in DC.

It's photo mode. The strange thing is that while the photo mode does add some AA to the image, it also masks some of the detail in the process(AA does this especially if it isn't necessary. Driveclub actually looks better in-game than in photo mode.

@deathlordcrime: Only no.2 looks really impressive there and given there's no Marius in sight and there's no photomode to my knowledge in Ryse then i'm guessing it's not gameplay.

i agree with Infamous SS and Driveclub better than Ryse X1 version, not sure with the Pc version though. PC is monster when it comes to graphics

Those shadowfall pictures must be the worst you could pick because I'm sure it looks better than that. The first one is actually rather ugly.

I picked up driveclub this week with some PSN credit I got for the Holidays. To tell you the truth I came away very underwhelmed with how the game looked in motion. I have been playing Forza Horizon 2 a ton and I expected DC to take it to a whole other level, but it really doesn't. I always play from either the cockpit cam or the hood cam. I have not played around with replays yet which most screenshots for racing games come from. But you don't play replays.....It looks nice but not anything that blew me away. I have only played a few races so will have to get into more.

As some have said there are better looking games for PC than Ryse. But Ryse at launch on XB1 was pretty impressive. Infamous was a pretty game but I think Ryse trumps it(gfx, not gameplay). I can't speak for Killzone but from what Ive seen the top PC shooters look better.

I am a PC gamer first but own all 3 new consoles(i own all consoles and portables) so nothing on the next gen consoles have really impressed me graphics wise. I have said with some games "wow, this looks good.....for a console.." Games like Ryse, Resogun, MLB the show. Mostly the games are coming close to what PC games put out a few years ago....

Best thing about not being a fanboy is not getting dragged into shit like this. PC will always win the graphics arguments, a 1-3 grand PC vs a 400 console, no competition. Though PC gamers need not be so arrogant about it. Maybe that's why PC gamers compare with consoles so they win all arguments kind of unfair don't you think?

Ryse blows away just about everything, including the Order, at least that's what SW's thinks according to the poll.

And Metro, bf4, and Alien Isolation are very good, better then KZ, SS, or DC. Not to mention Star Citizen which is getting more impressive day by day

Non of the Ryse pics posted here look super impressive to me, maybe it's lacking that grand scale or spectacle. Even for a corridor game such as this, The Order looks 10x more convincing for outputting maximum CGI like visuals. Sorry the game might appeal to some of you hermits but to me it's still a very good looking game but not nearly the best.

Pretty much this in PC terms but in consoles terms it's quite easily up there with the others.

I have all those games apart from aliens and NO they don't look better, nothing impressed my as much as the forests of the north in ryse. and that's xbox not pc!

I actually really like driveclub but its not the savior of graphics cows make it out to be, infamous is ok nothing to right home about and killzone is better than them both imo.

Also aliens on pc doesn't look better than ryse, and aliens pc owns aliens ps4 so where is the logic?

I'll give you DC being the best looking racing game, but only because there's no competition on PC in its genre yet.

It will be interesting what EA and Codemasters have in story in the arcade racing genre for this year, because it sure ain't looking like any PC exclusive racing games are gonna be any worth mentioning, graphically.

It'AC Unity tops this list. There's a reason why it's only 1600x900 and 15-30 fps on PS4. Thousands of NPCs, and incredibly detailed (or dense as you would say) world. The best GI and PBR use in any game to date, best AO I've seen with HBAO+, PCSS are just beautiful and only the PC version can have decent IQ and performance.
