Are Yoshi's Island and Zelda really coming out this year?jg4xchamp
Yes, they have been explicitly confirmed to be launching this year.
Zelda is November even, as per Nintendo's website.
Hows SMT IV Char? I saw you playing it a few days ago :PKaze_no_MiraiI like it a lot. Basically, if you're a fan of the series, you should like this one too. Of course, I haven't played it enough for the game to REALLY open up, so my opinions are liable to change :P
A Link Between Worlds is easily my most anticipated 3DS game. They better not screw it up.Xaero_Gravity
Same here. It looks like a handheld Zelda game that could actually be great.
Why thank you :PI see a lot of effort went into creating this thread.
Well done, Charizard. Well done.

Considering how great handheld Zelda games have been so far (not counting the DS ones, and even there a case could be made for them being at least good), and how this one seems to return to the classic Zelda style with no gimmicks, I think this one might actually hit the ball out of the park.

[QUOTE="whiskeystrike"][QUOTE="bbkkristian"] Sure is. I have not been able to put it down lately. :)

Nice. Just started it last night on Vita. Enjoying it so far.
Is it your first time playing it?yap
You can get Pokemon, Mario and Luigi, Etrian Odyssey, and Project X Zone on consoles? :o Or games like Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, and Animal Crossing, the 3DS versions of all of which have been universally acknowledged to be the best in their respective series yet, including, yes, any previous console installments?Only want Ace Attorney, rest are watered down console experiences.

Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden is the extent of my SMT experience.[QUOTE="darkspineslayer"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] Have you played any of the other games in the series? Basically, do you know what you are getting into?BlaveBrave

Funny, how the box art says SMT on it. I never expected the games to be exactly the same, but it's not like the titles are unrelated completly.

I did love Link's Awakening and the Oracle games. I was okay with Minish Cap though I didn't feel it was "great", I could see how one would think it is though as it really wasn't an overall flawed game. I was disappointed with both DS games personally, the most fun I had between those games was doing the online multiplayer in Phantom Hourglass. >_>
For me, it felt like handheld Zelda was on a bit of a decline ever since The oracle games. Not much of one mind you as it was only a few games since then and none of which were outright "bad." but it still disappoints me a bit that the last handheld Zelda game I greatly enjoyed were the Oracle games.
I really need to start buying some 3DS games. I only have 3 and there's so much I want. Next game will probably be Ace Attorney.

Tip: The story is a bit difficult to keep up with, with all the allegiances they throw at you in the beginning imo. Read thoroughly. :) I think this story is much better than all of the numbered Final Fantasies, with a much more serious atmosphere. I hope you enjoy it.Oh such a misguided individual.Only want Ace Attorney, rest are watered down console experiences.

Link between two worlds is what i'm looking forward to later this year!
Considering i know the overworlds like the back of my hand it will be nice to spot all the new changes. :)

They're very different. Actually, if I'm not wrong, Persona doesn't even carry the Shin Megami Tensei branding in Japan, that is just a thing in the west.[QUOTE="BlaveBrave"]

No No no...... I posted that because those are the only games you played. Alot of games carry the SMT Flag here's a list
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megami_Tensei
You are doing yourself a serious dis-service if you don't try more of them, but it is a different feel. Persona 3 and 4 are more....... Happy high days I guess... Even Devil Survivor Overclocked has a different tone more resembling that of the other SMT games. You got a 3DS pick up Overclocked I like it better than Devil Survivor 2, and then you can begin the hunt for the others :D
OH RAIDOU!! YOU SO HARD!!!! (cosplayed as him my first DragonCon >.> )
Want all of these:
Fire Emblem: Awakening (already bought)
LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins (already bought)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity (already bought)
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (already bought)
Donkey Country Returns 3D (already bought)
Animal Crossing: New Leaf (already bought)
Shin Megami Tensei IV
Mario and Luigi: Dream Team
Pokemon X/Y (yes I get both)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Phoenix WrightL Ace Attorney: Duel Destinies
Mario Party (if it comes out this year)
Yoshi's Island (if it comes out this year)
3DS killing it.
Pokemon xy has to be my most anticipated game for the rest of this year now that Dark Souls 2 has been pushed back to 2014.
Also looking forward to Zelda and M&L dream team

The DS Zelda's touch screen gimmicks were meaningful ideas though.
Don't get me wrong, they are two great entries that explored the DS tech, I'm all for a classic design Zelda on 3DS. I'm just hoping there is a twist to it, and not just copy/paste of both the light and dark worlds. I'd like the second world to be something entirely new, like a Paper Zelda or something.
Btw what do you guys think of the new stamina system that replaces ammunition? I'm not sure what to think of it in theory, need to see it in action. It certainly streamlines the Zelda experience, and takes away what is a lite RPG element.

Oh, I like the DS Zelda games. Specifically, I love Phantom Hourglass. I just recognize most other people don't, so I make allowances for that when I post. Actually, I hope for just the opposite, just a return to Link to the Past with minimal gimmicks. I'm assuming/hoping the Paper Link gimmick to be the extent of the 'new' stuff in the game.Oh, I like the DS Zelda games. Specifically, I love Phantom Hourglass. Why would you say no to a chance to explore Paper Zelda? :P It's merely a visual style, not representative of gameplay, how is that a gimmick. It would be the equivalent of Subrosia, or the mini-Link parts in Minish Cap.
We already got a taste of Yarn Zelda in Nintendo Land haha.

Mostly because this time around, after the exhausting trips in new 'enhancements' and 'gimmickry' that every Zelda post Ocarina has been, I just want a return to the basics. No masks, no boats, no wolves, no motion control, no touch screen, just old school 2D top down Zelda, one dungeon to the next, with some well laid puzzles and great music, complemented by a hell of a soundtrack. Save the gimmicks for the Wii U game :P
Library still needs work. Also, Mario party? Who the heck is going to make that? Hudon is dead.JakandsigzThe team that made Mario Party 9 and Wii Party; They are also making Wii Party U.
ND Cube Nintendo purchased them after the success of Wii Party.
Though Capcom made Mario Party 4; I think it was Mario Party 4 I know Capcom made one of them.

I think you'll like the gameplay, battles are random encounter but the battle themselves are in real time. You can dodge enemies attack and of course you have 2 demons that can fight with you and in true SMT fashion there's a LOT of them. You can press like L1 to call your demon back to you if there's a huge attack coming and you don't want them to take damage. Also the music is kickass. Here's a gameplay

Yeah, Atlus has been very good with its localizations lately.
This game launched in 2013 (NA)
Relic of the DS Touch Generations line of games. Too bad that audience has moved on to mobile gaming, I love these types of games, would hate it if the demand for them disappears on traditional handhelds.

Oh so the team that killed Mario party is making the next Mario Party? Have you played 9? Also no, Hudson made all the Mario party games except 9.I'll get SMT IV and be good for the year..probably :P Heil68Yeah right, you'll bite at another game. You cannot resist :P

Path of Radiance while easier still had more varied missions. It's better than Radiant Dawn I guess.

Don't forget the demons are pretty much fully customizable as far as moves and passives go. I used Tam Lin(lvl 10 demon I think) all the way to end game.
