I don't think I have ever found two more disappointing games that I spent full price on for the same system in my life.
You keep on rolling with your inferior taste! Nah he's rightRPG's are considered casual?:?All casual handheld games. That's how it should be. Take note, PS Vita!

agian avoiding admitting you f*** up. OoT is one of the most highly praised games of all time. If that is casual then you have no taste in games.I would pick apart thislist but I've done it enough. 3DS has a decent line-up for the time it's been out but it's not beastly by any means.FlamesOfGreypick it apart? even if you exclude the shovelware games and ports it's still a really great lineup

I've done it enough and in the end it goes nowhere. Like I said the 3DS has a decent library for it's time on the market not a beastly one.

But then, I don't own the 3DS, so I can't talk much about it. After seeing the games and how well they are going, I assumed that Nintendo is doing correctly with the handheld unlike Sony. PS Vita is basically a console wannabe. It's a handheld.

Crap controls. I loved several FPS games on the DS. Stylus + dpad works well and is very accurate. Not the case here. You have to pretend you are rotating a sphere of sorts and use momentum of the screen to turn properly.
Story isconvoluted with so much random crap. Even if they are supposed to be references to other Nintendo games like eggplant wizards for ice climbers, seeing an eggplant with two legs completely snaps you out of the zone. Wtf. Plus the conversation going on the entire time. Annoying as crap. You can't take the game seriously at all.
Its not terrible, but not top notch stuff by any means let alone best game since SMG 2?
As for kid icarus, I haven't heard a single legitimate criticism against it that isn't simply whining about the controls ShinobishyguyYou do realize that broken controls (which even the best argument in the world cannot overcome if someone thinks a game has broken controls) make up a huge part of a game right?

I think Super Mario 3D Land is amazing, best handheld platformer, probably ever. But I agree the OoT remake was a big letdown. Really no new additions to the game at all. I was hoping for something to make it worth while, but honestly I'd rather play the original because the controls aren't very good and the 3D kinda sucks. Wasn't worth buying again.

It's a pretty valid point to complain about.
Having a weird ass dash/walk system and littering the later levels with platforms/ledges that float over bottomless pits caused countless frustration. Then along with the difficulty system that lowers every time you die; it's a pain in the ass. The horrible vehicle controls were nothing to write home about either.
I didn't have trouble with enemies. It was the awkward pseudo-platforming. It sucks too because as difficulty level lowered bosses that took 2 minutes to beat on higher difficulty took 30 seconds to beat.
Another complaint I had was the checkpoints weren't save points, some levels are quite short; some levels can last for awhile. It would be nice to break up the flying/ground sections with a save point if I'm running low on time.
So there are my reasons. I haven't delved into the online yet, and most likely won't because that' not my kind of shindig.

After that they are a non-issue. you can throw that BS line down but it doesn't change the fact that they are terrible. KI trys to be fast paced with dashing and other stuff. This only severes to amplify the inherient issue with the controls. They simply do not work well enough. Turning around should not take that much effort or be that inaccurate.

Game is a huge let down aftr the awesomeness that was MKDS The thing that really pissed me off about MK7 was they took out a lot of the racers that were in previous games, shrinking the roster to an incredibly low number. I also found most of the new tracks to be kinda lame; I liked the tracks in MK Wii better. It's a shame Retro couldn't make better designs.[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"][QUOTE="Jonwh18"] except its not? After that they are a non-issue. Like I said, the best argument in the world won't change that in the mind of the many who think it is. For example, Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow is an awesome TPS that suffers from being on the PSP. I never understood what issues people had with its controls until I realized I myself had adjusted to using the buttons to move and analog stick to aim. This is too awkward to others, and just telling them to "get use to it," even in the most intrinsic manner, won't change it to them that they think the game didn't have good controls.
