The 360 is not doomed. the PS3 is when the price goes back up to 599$. People are just rusing for PS3's right now because they know the price wont last.

The sales fall after this amount of time because the majority who wanted one by now have got one (they just have to work on extending its product life cycle now and tbh I doubt the elite did much for them). Lets just see the PS3 sales after its slow down period. Plus give microsoft a little longer to extend its product life cycle (and I may I will give the PS3 the same respect to get started), plus plenty of morons are gonna just get the thing for halo 3 (Ive seen it lol). Maybe the PS3 will get a boost after the end of the year because of the exclusives on that catering for a different market to the 360.

Not long but the news was plastered all over the internet because it was announced at E3. I havent seen anythign about the Xbox prop on sites like cnn.com or MSNBC.com like I did for the PS3.

Actually the extra heatsync has been coming with the newer systems for a few months now (there are pics all over the internet with people opening up their XBOX360s showing them). They are basically getting rid of the old 90nm chip 360s, but those weren't the problem with the system.

True, I do see PS3s 600 dollar sku going down to 500 excluding the motorstorm at the end of september. I could be wrong though.

if sony didn't drop their price 100 bucks, since the damn thing was so expensive, it makes the 360 price drop look cheap. if sony had no price drop and Microsoft would have done a $50 price drop, people would have gone nuts for it.

thats just a guess, but it makes sense to me.

Forza 2 is #1 ....so I guess the game will be #1 this month ( since it's still July by NPD standards til sunday)..:|

it was harly even a pricecut the normal x-box cut was decent but only $20 off the core is complete crap there lackluster makes me want a p33.
