360 CAN DO Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2.

while i always been a dreamer, i really think you should wake up my friend... its not about whether or not 360 is capable of running titles such as U2 or K2 and surely its not about blu-ray... those 2 IP's are owned by SONY..

So then if PS2 got a Blu-Ray add on, it could play PS3 games? :P

Hardware wise, it is able to do graphics like U2 and KZ2. U2 has alot of duped data in order to have no loading time

This man speaks truth. With the nuclear reactor add-on the 360 could make those games look even better.

I dont develope for 360 so I dont know whats its capable of or even if a BR drive could help. But I seen the Cry engine video, it would seem the 360 is capable of alot more than we're seeing.

Alot of people say the 360 can do this game and that game's graphics , yet we are still waiting for MS to show that power. I'll believe it when I see it. MS does not give the first partydevs (are there any left?) enough time to work on making the best game possible. They target release dates and rush to get those games out the door.

I am interested in seeing the Reach Engine in action.

So did Bioware take extra time to work on the ps3 graphics of DAO or was it because they didn't have to compress the data on blu-ray like they did with DVD?

What a short memory sonyfans have. Sure they can talk up UC2 now, but turn back the clock, and there was a time we were waiting to see a PS3 game surpass Gears 1. The cows also said 360 was maxed out after that game and sure enough Gears 2 showed considerable improvement. There is still room for both consoles to grow, so it's typical to see a constant game of oneupmanship, each leap frogging over the other in capabilities as the cycle repeats.

The point being, saying "when will X console finally show something better than game Y?" really shows no forethought of the future when it hasn't considered the complete console wars history.

It could probably done without Blu-Ray.

Either way, unless anybody has experience coding for either system, it's all just speculation. We can simply go off comparisons.

btw, not to nitpick or anything but i finally got my hands on uncharted 2 and while yes it looks amazing (well except for anytime there is a kitchen and you have to look at the ugly microwave and blurred out labels) the reason it's such a great game is the story and the dialogue and then you realize uncharted 2 could have been on the ps2 and been just as good a game....

kind of strange that the "console gfx king" is the game that makes you realize that gfx are the most unimportant part of any game....
