Ok first of all, I'd lke to say googling for a list of MS studios and thinking I was missing a lot of it is a pain in the ass. And then second of all, it's beginning to seem like an illusion to be honest. I think the reasion the 360 is so popular is because it hides in third party games, People associate games such as COD wth the 360 and you have no idea how many people think even PS3 exclusives are actually 360 exclusives. I can't say how many times I've had to argue with people that the 360 version of Uncharted isn't better than the PS3 version. Like are you kidding me? SONY NEEDS BETTER MARKETING.

Nintendo are one of the few AAA gaming companies I still have respect for (Blizzard being the other one).

Edit: Both Sony and MS still have good first party, but their games are not really the kind that interests me.

Sure, the 1st party studio a person likes the most is completely their opinion.  But Nintendo has objective qualities that puts their 1st party in the lead from scores to sales to legacy.

That said, as many vocal Nintendo haters as there are in SW, they don't make up the majority.  Nintendo kills threads like these usually.  They took the best developer thread and it wasn't even close.  And that included all devs.

Even most hardcore cows know that Nintendo first party is the best.

You should play more Sony games.

I play just about every relevant Sony (console) game there is.   A truly good game from Sony is something you might see every few years.  A great game from them is once or twice a gen.

With Team Ico fumbling over TLG and GT5 being underwhelming as it was, there goes two of their top devs.  NDs games are nothing compared to what they used to be.

What Sony games do you think I should be playing, exactly?

Developing games for the new console would be the obvious answer. 

Games aren't developed in a couple of months.  If Nintendos dev schedules bug you then I'd hate to know what you think about Sony.

Mmm, play their games?  I dont see why its hard to get.  They've been making better games than the other guys and they've been doing so for much longer.

If they could only offer up a console with some power and get some 3rd parties on their side they'd be golden.

But Nintendo is the only one of the 3 that can survive off 1st party alone.  That says a lot.

Say what you will about Nintendo, most of what they do sucks, but this is the one area that they shine.
