or one of SEGA multiple compilation. Strange theres not already a Sonic Hyper Collection for the wii thats the equal of owning Sonic Mega Collection and Gems Collection. They may also add some other games like Vectorman and Ristar and if they hear us, Knuckles Chaotix

NONE!!! shadow has already got his own game and it sucked. and sonic games are about speed and all those characters except metal sonic are to slow! and metal sonic has no potential for his own game so he's out to.

Most of the characters on this list barely fullfill the qualifications of a decent supporting cast. I barely want to look at them while playing a game in the series they come from. So why give them solo titles to screw up while giving Sega a new way to profiteer off of the more annoying half of the fanbase?RidersInThe-Sky

Well maybe if they get their own games they'll all stop poking their asses into the main games all the time forcing us to play as them. Then we can just ignore the spinoffs and let their insane fans buy them.

After all the Mario series made spinoffs of Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, DK and Wario which pleases their fans and keeps them from being shoved into every main Mario game. Luigi's Mansion basically came out of fans mad that he was left out of games like Super Mario RPG and Mario 64 and only barely in Paper Mario. I was reading Nintendo Power at the time and you wouldn't believe all the fanboys ranting in the letters about Luigi's abscence and do I have to mention how whiny Mario fans are over having two Toads playable in New Super Mario Bros.?

Why isn't Sonic on this list? Sonic needs a game only about him (Sonic Unleashed doesn't count since the Mr. Furry Fantastic isn't really the same Sonic).
But out of only the options on the list, Metal or Mecha.

One thing I did laugh about in NSMB was the fact they said Peach's skirt kept her out of the game. Was it the skirt physics they could have easily ripped from Brawl or made within a day? or was it something else?
Nintendo just got lazy I bet.

The only option i'm not proud of is Silver. 

Two words: No one.

The Sonic series needs to keep its importance on Sonic, not all those other filler characters.

Tails has always been an important part of the Sonic series.

How? If he had never shown his face, no one would've cared. He basically looks like a fan character. He's slow as hell, his voice is grating and has absolultely no personality. He was basically made out of a dare to make a Sonic character more one note than Shadow. Not to mention he debuted in one of the worst Sonic games ever.

He ranks up there with Espio and the Babylon Rouges in the "what's my appeal?" characters.

I know I'm probably the only one that thinks this, but if they actually made the gamplay good, I wouldn't mind seeing another Shadow game.

Other than that, no one.

Not many have played Chaotix because while Sega loves rereleasing all the old Genesis games, they have never rereleased that one. You didn't just play as Knuckles, it had a tag team element where you linked up two characters of your choice, so Knuckles, Vector, Charmy, Espio and Mighty and each one had their own abilities but from Sonicphc's review it was a very good game and we can only hope it gets ported one of these days.
