...do you think is going to be best of the best? One that would be the reason someone would buy a PS3? I'm going to go ahead and say GT5 and GoW3(if there ever is one.) I would also love to see a new game with a different genre that would be as great as Sony's other games.
There are rumors that they are already working on a new Jak & Daxter. According to IGN, SCEA filed a trademark for the title "Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier" with the US Patent Office. If this is the case, the game will not really be "reborn" in a new form.
Anyway, i would buy a ps3 just for this game, if i didn't already own one. :P
.. man, honesly there isnt one game other than MGS4 that is really interesting me right now. :\ Maybe Warhawk since I loved the PS1.. but I heard they may be scrapping it.
I say socom because the first socom was breath taking graphics and awsome gameplay. With the power of the PS3 the graphics can be awomse, and hell even do destructable enviorments such as trees and buildings. I bet you they do add destruction to the world.
REBIRTH OF JAK!!! Man, that game, although I didn't appreciate it back in the time it came out, was such a great franchise. Visually, gameplay-wise, and story-wise, it was unforgettable. Jak and Daxter were such a great duo...and, while I always argued that Ratchet and Clank were the better duo, I have to give it to JaK and Daxter for their incredible adventures (ESPECIALLY the first game, THe precursor legacy or somethin like that. It gave the best sense of exploration, next to Super Mario 64), and great characters. THE PS3 BEGS FOR JAK 4! THEY NEED TA BRING IT BACK!!!!
well, I would say Assassin's Creed, but it's not exclusive, so I will say the new Naughty Dog game. if anyone can make a truly great game for a playstation console, it's Naughty Dog.
Assassin's Creed will still be the best game ever made though :wink:

Im a big fan of MGS too! I hope they come out with MGS4 with some inovation. I guess MGS3 wasnt that great, I thought MGS2 better because theres more technology.
Anyway, I think its more likely for the GTA series to evolve but not so soon because I dont think game makers have the Blue Ray technology yet.
I could've easily voted for any of those titles because they are all great but I voted for something new. Some sort of party game maybe? I think Sony has always had a limited supply of party games so it'd be nice to see some new stuff. Simple but fun, maybe something like Fusion Frenzy on the xbox, i dunno?
Final fantasy verus 13 ( at the end of trailer it says on for playstation 3) and final fantasy 13 , not sure kingdom hearts 3 is gonna be a exclusive but yeah KH3 also
I think Lokestar's idea would be awesome. So current winners are GoW (22) and Something new (21) and the losers Rebirth Jak (7) and GT (7). I wonder why GT is losing? Sure we got PGR3 over there, but is there 700+ cars in that?! Because that's what Sony has to give us, don't ya think?
I will say something new. Maybe Zone of Enders 3. It will be amazing with PS3 capabilities and I think the story allows another game. I wish if Kojima works on a new game that is exclusive on PS3. Something completely new.

We both know that you can't handle MGS and that you avoided going into details with the games a long time ago because it was proven that had never actually played any.

Sigh.... the scrap of Warhawk was a two-hour rumor that was resolved and answered by Sony and even David Jaffe. Its not going to be scrapped. Sticking to the topic...I believe a new franchise will be born on the PS3 that can revolutionize gaming.
i personally am waiting for DMC4. in my order of most anticipated games: DMC4 Heavenly Sword God of War 3 MGS4/GT5 Killzone/Uncharted SOCOM Ratchet and Clank/Jak & Daxter
IF they would have released Warhawk at launch (like it seemed they were going to), then maybe they would be selling more units. But however, I still am waiting for a PS3 good exclusive title to come out. I hope they make a GoW3 or a Shadow of the Colossus type game. Also what about Ace Combat? If they make a PS3 version, I'll definately snag it. (yes i know Acecombat is not a ps exclusive, but the only other system to have ace combat is gba)
MGS4 will be a good start but i'm not willing to spend 425 pound for it...if one game would make me spend that much...we'll there isn't one game that would make me spend that much on anything,but the game i'm most looking forward to on the ps3 is FFXIII.

Man we keep seeing this same thing over and over again. The thing is, Sony doesn't do one trick ponies. They have a lot of games that get people to buy the system. You're confussing it with the other console I think.
