What's the longest time you've kept your PS3 on for?

I try not to play the PS3 for more than 3 hours...cause I don't want it to die on me lol. But anyways, the most time I've had my PS3 on was probably about 5-6 hours....I always tend to keep my console on even when I go out to do other things. I have a habit of not turning my console off but I look to change that :]

like 24 hours. Played it non-stop at a nerdy get together and I let my X watch Netflix on it an she forgot to turn it off.Fightingfan

Oh..that can't be good. But as long as your PS3 still works, I guess you're fine lol

Normaly it's only on for about 4-5 hours or less, but I remember one time I threw a little "get together," and it ended up staying on for almost 24 hours. It's a fat version from launch date, still works fine.

I've played 20 straight hours of Assassin's Creed 2 when I got it.

At least 10 hours.

Nothing like getting that trophy in Disgaea 3 while sleeping.:P

Never that long, unless a game is in or something is downloading it shuts off after 3hrs of being idle. Probably the longest I've ever ran it was 8hrs.

i play daily from 2-4 hours expect 2 days in a week coz i am a busy man lol, keep it turn-on sumtimes when i am downloding huge files

B-spec gran turismo.......haha right now..9 hours

4 hours, was at the end of FF7 so I wanted to finish it. Normally I have it on for 2 - 2,5 hours when I'm playing a new game, and then I let it rest for 30-40 mins before starting again.

Around 15 hours, usually just downloading stuff. My PS3 is currently on, downloading Assassins Creed 1, 2. I'm leaving it on for the night.

i left it on for about 8 hours before i went to sleep. i did this for 2 days when i was downloading the welcome back games.

I just leave it on most of the time since I know I keep going back to it, either to play games, watch netflix. The longest it was on was 1year

Over 24 hours when I did one of those B-spec endurance races in GT5. Which of course you don't even participate in - you're just getting credit for leaving your console turned on that long.

I just take too much care of my PS3 that I won't keep it on for a long time without giving it a break.

My wife left for a weekend once with our son so I ordered a pizza and bought a new game to play. I think I played for probably 14-16 hours straight.

Probably less than 5 hours while dowloading demos/patches/etc. during the night. I rarely play more than 3 hours straight, and I usually tend to keep it under 90 minutes per sitting.

Kinda hard to believe when you consider I tried nearly a hundred games on PS3.

I hardly ever turn it off.

< 3 hours. I never use the PS3 longer than that at one time.

I still have the original Fat 60gig and I've left it on a few weeks at a time before. Still runs smooth lol *crosses fingers*

48 hours at least. Probably longer. Played borderlands for like 16 hours straight, had bad IR so i looped bruce almighty for about 12 hours while i was at work and then played borderlands again for like 12 hours straight when i got home and then went to sleep with netflix running and the shutdown set on 2 hours.

Close to a week is about the longest I've run mine, I do marathons pretty often though. So long as the chips are heated up you might as well keep them that way...

8 hours, just recently to download the free trial of Midnight Club LA.

When I marathon, like when I beat Ghostbusters in one day, it was my second playthrough, I usually play for a couple hours, and then I turn it off for a while. Then usually after I watch my nightly TV shows, then I will play more. But I don't marathon that much.

12 hours.. turned on in the night. mysterious.

8 hours. My brother and his girlfriend came over this past weekend, and they wanted to watch Netflix. So we spent like eight hours watching movies and stuff, and it was pretty fun since it felt like we were the guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000. You know, making fun of some of the films' flaws, cheesiness and whatnot.
