Well, It had just been released shortly before my birthday and seeing as my parents had not bought me a present yet they brought it to my attention that its on sale. Well, They forked out about £300 and I got it! :) Simple as that.
It was after purchase when i realised what a powerful piece of equipment it is! I am never going to get bored of it!
I got my first one because my cousin had one, and it was awesome. My first games were GTA: Vice City Stories and Wipeout: Pure. I never really used it for anything but videos and games.
I wanted a portable console with good graphs, but then i started to see the awesome games that the DS was getting, and then i bought a DS, i have both, but i'm quite fond to my DS right now...
Hmmm I used to be a Driver...and I always needed something to do between runs, and sports talk radio was getting boring. One of my clients a had Nintendo DS and she was always on it, playing games and listening to music...I like music and at the time wasn't playing video games but I remembered how fun the Genesis used to be lol (im old school sorry)...so I went to Gamestop like how much for the Nintendo player? The cashier was like you don't want that get a Sony...so he pulled one out the back and let me hold it. It looked pretty futuristic lol. But I wasn't familiar when I told him the Nintendo played music he told me you had to buy extra stuff and the Sony came with music included. So I held off told him ima look into it, do some research. Googled PSP vs DS for like a week, when I got my following check I got the PSP & Midnite Club 3....I was just getting back into video games so I figured a racing game wouldnt be too corny....I wasn't familiar with all the titles that were out. Well when I had to do a run for the client she was like "You should have got a DS" Based on the things I read I'm happy I didn't do that. I got like 12 games now, about 80 MP3s & now I just downloaded some comics(www.NYC2123.com)...I can't wait for GPS to come out. I haven't even had it a year yet. Bought mine in Oct 07.
