I am only seriously interested in FF XIII, but might get some of these if they turn out to be good games: Last Remnant, Eternal Sonata and White Night Story...
White Knight Chronicles, SMT PS3 Project, Sony funded Square Enix PS3 game, Both FF XIII, Galian Chronicles, Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4, The Last Remnant and though its a PS2 game PERSONA 4. Already finished P3 and Im now playing FES :D
White Knight Story; it looks like it takes the good stuff from JRPG's and adds a character creation aspect, its also been said thay you're not foced to play as the main character so it must have some western style choice picking.gekidami
Knowing Level 5 its going to be a sort of action RPG, as Rogue Galaxy (were you were able to change characters). The character that you create will just be a bystander, a party member, that may have participation in the story. Its a JRPG, so dont be looking for westernish on it though.
I'm ignorant of the upcoming RPGs on the PS3, but are there any upcoming non-JRPGs besides Fallout 3? I'm hoping there will at least be another SOE game, hopefully in the Everquest universe, coming out for the PS3. Champions of Norrath was one of my favorites for the PS2.
Majority of rpgs on PlayStation are JRPGs. There are very rare occasions for western rpg, however that could change with this new generation.Sokol4ever
I hope so. This generation has had a real lack of Diablo clone type RPGs like the Baldur's Gate and Norrath games last generation. The closest has probably been Untold Legends, but that wasn't that great.
Fallout 3 is my most anticipated RPG for this year.... KHIII hasn't been announced so ill just keep waiting for Kingdom Hearts:Birth by Sleep on PSP and the other KH game on the DS.
Shin Migami Tensei 4 is coming out soon for Japan or it might already be out...?

Those are the ones I want, I think Star Ocean 4 is suppose to come out too but I could care less for that game.

There has been no KH3 officially announced.
Anyways, western rpgs just don't seem to interest a lot of people. I guess its somewhat of Japan's specialty, sort of like how Japan floods television with Anime. Once in a while there will be a good animated show that doesn't come from Japan...like how once in a while there will be a good non-japanese rpg.
I'm pretty much excited for any promising RPG. I've played a few and I don't find them to be all that amazing, but the line up for the RPG's coming to the PS3 looks awesome.
