I don't think I've ever played one.

@DEVILinIRON:

They are video games and nothing more.

I honestly didn't become a fan until the remake on PS4 but after that I went back and beat a Crack in time on PS+ and later bought Rift apart and beat it. They are honestly outstanding games.

I never play them. I can't stand that Ratchet is some kinda creature, whatever he is, alien or creature, I don't know isn't he a Wombat? It's weird I don't like his design.

I thought Rift Apart was impressive. I only got to the second level or planet. I hope to find time to play it again. The graphics are so good it is like playing a cartoon.

My only experience with the franchise was with Crack in Time, which I tried to play twice but just found it to be unappealing to the extreme. Made it about halfway both times.

As you can tell by my username I loved the series on PS2, the later games got too soft with their sense of humour and storylines but had great gameplay. I recently played Deadlocked again on PSPlus and loved it even with todays standards of games.

I'm not really into Rachet and Clank. They are 3D Run and gun games with platforming elements. Their humor is good though.

The games are pretty for for a platform shooter, it has a mislabel story overall. the visual aesthetic is hit and miss with some of the games hitting the perfect look of cyber fantasy and others looking a bit stale.

I like the original ps2 titles but if you want to start somewhere start on the ps3 the games really feel best from then on.

All the side missions with clank suck.
