I Hope this thread brings all BFBC2 fans together and ready for the new DLC..

Maybe newcomers would be very interested in this game and this thread would

lead them to a great direction to a FPS that involves a lot of teamwork and of course

cooperation. If you want a serious FPS where you feel like a real soldier at war..

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is for you :D (There is the regular edition and Ultimate edition)

Intro

Back in March..The FPS of the Bad Company made it's move..

It was a pretty damn good one..

with huge maps, many weapons and ****s to choose from, and over 16 players a game..

This isn't MAG.. but it's something official..

This game isn't over yet.. It's back for more

and the die hard fans are still there ready for more..

Map Pack 7 arrives for download today

BFBC2 Vietnam IS OUT NOW

Finally,the waiting is over and DICE, in conjunction with Electronic Arts, has confirmed the date for the upcoming Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam add-on pack. While everyone knew the Vietnam add-on was in development for release before the end of the year, it is only known that the actual release date has been confirmed.

PC owners who have Battlefield Bad Company 2 will get a little ahead of the game with the news that the PC version of the Vietnam add-on will be available for purchase and download from both the EA Store and Steam on December 18th. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait till December 21st to be able to purchase and download the add-on for their platforms.

According to what our sources are confirming to us, the Vietnam add-on will go for $15 for PC and PlayStation 3 owners, while it will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points, or $15, for Xbox 360 owners.

In the meantime, while players eagerly await the release of the Vietnam add-on (which will add four new maps and period weapons and vehicles for players to experience), DICE is dropping Map Pack 7 later today; it will include two new maps, plus updated versions of Harvest Day and Oasis from the first Bad Company title.

Map Pack 7 will be offered free to those BFBC2 players who registered their VIP codes (which were included with each new purchase of BFBC2). Those who do not have a VIP code will be forced to purchase one to enjoy the new Map Pack 7 offerings as well as additional free DLC content

I know that guns can be unlocked, but does it have a separate ranking schedule from vanilla BC2?

In other words, I am a level 31 right now in BC2. Will that be my rank going into Vietnam or will your rank start at private, level 1 again?

PS Store doesn't update til somewhere in between 5 P.M. - 8 P.M. on the East Coast.

As for Bad Company 2; I might start playing again when I replace my router.

I have it now, hit detection is not perfect but better than the original BC2 and best of all, no UAVs!

I just put BFBC2 back in after a long hiatus, damn I forgot how much fun it is!!! I'm getting burnt out on Black OPS I'm about ready to presitige again and I'm just like meh... Nice to see you showing the love to BFBC2 UC!!! I wish more people would give this game a chance because the multi is awesome. Count me in and yes I have a mic...

Cool thanks, I really need to pick this up again. But I'll wait till after x-mas and use some of my money to buy BFBC2, RoF or Vanquish.
