PSN Avatars selection

I dont think they should allow people to upload their own images, we'll just end up seeing a bunch of dirty pornographic images as their avatars, just like the comments, I have read the nastiest things on their.pirategunner

we should be able to upload custom but on the rule of no Offencive or any Naked people pics

I would like it if they added a whole lot more of them, but I don't think they should let people upload their own. I like being limited to a list of avatars because it keeps everything game or PlayStation related which is kinda cool. They should just expand on what they have.shady_825

its pretty sad that however million PSN users are confined to like 300 avatars.. sucks really...americahellyeah

Not to mention the fact that some of them are for games that nobody plays. "Oooh Super-Rub-A-Dub avatars, sweet!"

Yeah, there isn't a lot to choose from, and considering at least half of what is there sucks, one's options are extremely limited.

It's time for some new avatars, and it's especially time for Sony to allow us to upload our own.

I think we should have 4 options (when Home comes out): a pre-set avatar that Sony made themselves, a custom avatar that we upload ourselves (99% sure this won't happen), your SackBoy/SackGirl from LBP of your choice, or your Home avatar.theycallmeryan

Wouldn't a Home avatar just be your dude's face? Who'd want that? I understand what you mean about custom avatars, but I think it would be a lot better if every PS3 game that came out, or at least every popular one, added a few icons to the list. The Sackboy idea is also pretty good but I imagine people will be changing those fairly often so that might not be feasible.

I totally agree, though there should be a wider selection of avatars provided. Where the hell is Snake? Its not good..
