Okay its bad when some flamming troll says it but when someone like EGM saying stuff like the PS3 will receive substandard ports (FEAR, Obivillion) , that's really pushing it. To be honest with you, it only look like CoW3 was the only one that was sub-bar (with the clipping and no voice in multiplayer) but to say that others will be just like that is crap. It's obvious that if a developer wants to, that can put out equally good ports of multiplatform games look at EA.
What do you expect from ports? specially games that been out for awhile. Do you think the developers will be as enthusiastic of porting as they where when they started developing it for the first time? and if they are gonna release a game thats over 6 months old (some 1 year) they should add alot more than just abit better graphics, so it would be worth retail price. So yes these games will be mediocre ports as they won't be delivering anything new.
Oblivion will be great on PS3 screw EGM, and GS and anyone else. You are going to love the game if you havent played it before. If you have played it before of course its gonna suck. And the devs already said the load times are shorter, less glitches, smoother framerate, less pop up, and that line that divides far and near graphics has been smoothed out. So screw them
