I have a PS3 and recently my controller wouldn't hold its charge or work when plugged in so I brought another one and it happened again this happened with four controllers, all officially Sony controllers, I've tried different chargers and usbs but nothing, any help?

Stay away from mine.

Yep plug them into something else. They do have to me tethered to the PS3 before it's turned off though.

Bro I think you should your ps3 go to the mechanic
By the way have ps3 a guarantee ?

I think pretty much the same thing.

To the OP: have you tried charging the controllers somewhere else ? normally I charge my controllers in the USB adapter of the screen.

If you have tried different chargers perhaps your plug in is dead or the cord may be slipping out of the plug in. My kids constantly unplug the charges on accident or when using the outlet and forget to plug it back in. If this doesn't resolve the issue I'd look into the place you are buying from. Make sure they are a reputable retail company and that you aren't buying refurbished controllers. If that doesn't solve the problem I'd say you may not be fully plug in in the controller, and if that doesn't fix it then you have a controller curse lol.

Yes indeed. The thing is, they have to be under warranty however.

Christ, start the charging when th PS3 is on. It's not rocket science.
