MW2 map packs, to buy or not *POLL!*

no way in hell am i gonna spend 15 bucks on the biggest ripoff in the history of mankind. for those of you who havent heard yet, 15$ for 3 new maps and 2 old ones from MW

The only thing that would bring me back to mw2 was new maps but 3 new an 2 old ones for $15, i rather get my 2 free VIP maps.

While 3 months ago it would have been a completely different story its far too little too late in my opinion... MW2 has left a bad taste in my mouth, i'm enjoying BFBC2 atm and will continue enjoying it once the FREE maps come out... especially after Vince and Jason got canned i'm not gonna support Activision anymore if i can..PoisoN_Facecam0

I just realized Zombie Island DLC and General KNox Armory DLC for borderlands were both 10 bucks a piece, and about 8-10 hours of gameplay a piece, keep in mind that this dlc had new areas, new enemies, and new weapons, it was very well worth the money.

and this MW2 DLC is three new maps and 2 remakes for 15 bucks?????? that is quite ridiculous, theyre freakin maps, it should be 5 dollars, or for how much money MW2 made, they should be free,

15$ is a reasonable price for the maps in my opinion so yes i will be buying them. Really at 3$ a map i don't see what the problem is. Economy isn't that bad where you can't spring 15$ for something that, if you are a true MW2 player, will spend days of play on.

no I am not if they had some old school ones like Pavlov then it is a possibility but just brush ups of maps from COD4 i dont think so.

Even though I don't have the game, I wouldn't spend $15 on 5 maps but this is a great situation to use game sharing. Since you can share up to 5 people, it will be $3 per person for 5 maps which shouldn't be too bad.

I don't have the game, but even if I did there's no way in hell I would even consider getting the new map pack. If you have CoD4 (which most people who have MW2 do) then you've already paid for 2 of the maps once. That means you're either paying $5 per map or $6 for maps you've already bought once (two different ways you can look at it).

I would say it would be hard for MW2 to sell it's map pack when compared to BC2's free map pack, but let's be reasonable here for a second...all the 12 year olds have to do is ask mommy and daddy for their credit card info or for a PSN/XBL points card and they'll get the map pack. They don't care how much it costs because it's not their money.

as of right now, theres no way in hell am i paying $15 for it. but who knows, maybe my mind will change when it gets released, i'm still playing a ton of online though, if im still playing the crap out of that game till then i'll consider it

I no longer have an interest in the game and I honestly don't care what happens to it but the map pack kinda pissed me off. They charging for 2 maps we already have? And only bringing 3 new ones which will probably end up sucking anyways. It'd might have been acceptable for $10 but at $15? It's ridiculous and clearly overpriced. Whoever buys this is sending a message to Activision that you will buy anything with the Call of Duty brand on it and you do not value your money.

Besides, map packs for Call of Duty games don't have the best quality in my opinion. WaW's map pack was only good for the Nazi Zombie maps and COD4's map pack was horrible. Every map was garbage, it's not even like the same people made the multiplayer maps made the DLC maps.
