what game looks better to you? i watched a bunch of video's of both and infamous looks a lot better imo, prototype looks idk how to explain but it reminds me of some of the spiderman games on the ps2/xbox.

same for me. After playing Spiderman 2 i know how awesome it can be at first (especially with the swinging) but after awhile just becomes dull...infamous seems different in this with the focus primarily on the affects of one power and a seemingly deep story. Can't wait to play them, but my vote goes for infamous from what i've seen so far (especially since it's sucker punch xD) devs making prototype arent too impressive...
Prototype. I like the aspect of using stealth by assuming enemies identity, memories, and skills. Or just saying eff it and destroying everything in my path.

but have you seen some of the videos? you were running down the street at like 60 miles an hour, ramming cars and they go flying off somewhere.. it's got annoying feal in it... i still don't know how to explain that..

That's what i was about to say (had to look up a trailer.) Which probably means Prototype is going to be more popular.
But as for myself, InFamous looks best. More style, less crap.
I think InFamous looks much better. I feel like Prototype will become very dull, boring and repetitive very fast. And I think InFamous will have a better in-depth story.
ill def buy inFamous and probably play Prototype. Come to think of it i havent seen alot of prototype lately, (videos, previews) although i may not be looking hard enough, but it seems like ive seen alot more stuff from inFamous

Besides, from the videos ive seen of Infamous, it doesnt seem to have a story, maybe im wrong, but its jist like "wow i have superpowers i must decide if i will kill everyone or save everyone just beacuse"In prototype, youre supposed to have amnesia and you must consume people in order to gain memories so that you can get to kill the right guys.
Infamous just seems to have a better feel to it. Prototype looks like they rushed it down so they could compete with Infamous. The physics look all wrong, the story sounds completly uneven, the enemies look like they just stand around and wait for you to kill them. When I saw Infamous in action bullets were crisscrossoing from all sides, the junk golems when trying their best to blast you or stomp on your head and the powered reapers were giving you hell. Even in the previews they said that the Golems were tough to beat and need precision to destroy them. However in Prototype everyone seemed like punching bags standing their waiting to either get eaten, killed or thrown at something.Even the story sounds uneven. You wake up with amenisa and find out you are a monster. So you go out of your way to prove them right by killing innocent people, destroying the city and eating the soliders? And then you have missions where you save people. So in other words if you are a murderous, life sucking parasite why in the hell would you want to save people? Even Venom, Spawn and Kratos had more self control then this guy. The whole thing sounds mindless and pointless to me.
I'm tired of all these Infamous vs Prototype threads, so instead of saying all the equalities, qualitiesand differences I'm just going to go ahead and say the game I'll be getting.

I think a lot of ppl feel that way... Prototype looks like the Spiderman games crossed with Hulk Ultimate Destruction. But I loved Spiderman 2... so as long as it averages an 8 or higher, I'll still get it. BUT... I'm looking forward to inFamous A LOT more than Prototype. inFamous is one of my most wanted games for the year.
Prototype looks more fun to me but only by a little bit. Theres just something about Infamous, maybe the way the clibming looks. His movement reminds me of Sly Cooper (really like that game plus the same developers are making Infamous). The game just has some untapped potential to me but Prototype looks like its gonna be loads of fun.
don't think that infamous is going to be as good as prototype because it seems to be a lot more monotonous so I will go with prototype. Also, prototype will be released for more consoles, so it will be more popular Infamous>Prototype in graphicsand that you can be good and evil , but I think that Prototype is more fun and more interesting in all other aspects Prototype all the way, but I think that both of these will be insane games
Prototype is gonna be a flop in my eyes...inFamous on the other hand already got a lot pf praise from different sites and just looking at it makes me crave it. InFamous is looking a lot better.
