If you are a PS3 gamer....why do you bother with Gamespot?

Seriously. They give us little to no support at all. Our games never get reviewed. If they are then they are almost always rated less then the XBOX 360 version. I'm am soo tired of having to go to the XBOX boards to get a review. If you don't have any Gamespot reviewers that are willing to try the PS3 version then give some of us PS3 fans a chance and let us review it for you.

while the you do raise some good points. Not many PS3 rewviews etc.

I also agree with [ Insert Above Poster's Name Here ] If you don't like it, leave, go to IGN or osmething

All i hear today is "Whinge Whine" about the LBP review...

Seriously, who cares if they favour Xbox??!! i mean honestly

Will the score they give LBP

a: Change the way YOU look at the game?

b: change your experience while actually playing the game?

c: keep the game from actually being good?

d: really matter all that much anyway, since the person playing it, has totally different opinions to you, and thats what games are all about, matter of opinion?

i think people need to cut it out, i personally dont care if Gamespot likes xbox 360 better, who cares what scores a game gets. The only thing I care about, is what I.. ME.. THE OP OF THIS MESSAGE thinks of the game.......

sure they nitpicked a little at the game, and stating that the levels take a while to create probably wasnt called for. But meh! If you dont like it, then create your own website and review games.. Oh but thats right.... then it will just be someone else whinging about the reviews you would be making. *sigh*

GameSpot isn't the only website with reviews i think there probably are others around the intraweb . xD

If you don't like it leave , anyway most people just look up reviews to "confirm" they're opinions on the game, opinions that 90% of the time are already formed(i.e. if a game scored higher than you think it should have you'll say its overrated if it scores lower you would say the reviewer knows nothing about videogames).

People please don't care so much about arbitrary game scores.

Which is why most ps3 fans like gamespot, because of it's forums. I don't know why this question is always being asked.

I am not asking them to hand stamp every PS3 game that comes down the pipe a freaking 10. I am asking for a review period. Good or bad. I'll take it anyway they give it to me.

Oh and I knew they weren't going to give LBP a 10. I knew they were going to knock the short solo play because the game isn't built for that. The game is built for the community to enrichen it, and eventually it will. But the core game is 'basic'.

Still, I have limited funds and time to put into games. I have found over the years that the PS2 reviews have been helpful. I would just like to same respect for the PS3.

100% agree, i am not a PS3 fan, i dun even have 1 but i really can c that this site is all about x360 games, better and early reviews 4 them, more coverage about their news..... etc.

4 the PS3 i dun know, but it is so clear that it doesnt have the same attention by the site and consequently by the readers, you really can c that when you compare btween GS and IGN.

i dun like that at all.And actually 4 the scores that is given by GS, they dun have any kredibiltiy 2 me anymore, and the final word is "GS is very biased 2 the x360".

Because usually, PS3 news travels fast here. I usually see it here before anywhere else I look to for info. Other than that, this whole place is a joke that I don't actually take seriously.

And yes, there were A LOT of anti-PS3 articles and such. Gamespot was doing it for months ever since the whole "up coming PS3 vs 360" thing started when Microsoft started using FUD tactics before the PS3 was even launched. When the PS3 did launch, it became worse and it went on for quite some time. I may not subscribe to this stuff, but even I saw it. I've been coming here since the PS1 era and I don't really blame people when they play the "biased card". Pre-next gen, it was never like this. Everything here was just up XBox and Halo was like Jesus. People may say no, but I say I saw what I saw. I remember thinking many times how stupid it was. I come from the 8-bit era. Where the term "Fanboy" didn't even exist. Where people didn't argue such foolishness as "what system are you LOYAL to". I grew up in a time where having all of the systems (or as many as possible) was the best thing of all. Sticking to one system is just plain stupid. Where am I going to play my Mario? Not on a Playstation. Though, I can't say much for XBox or 360 games cause I could just play them on my PC.

Umm, why does anyone think that gamespot is biased?? If they were biased, they'd rate the games above average to get money from publishers. CNET would probably take action if an editor said that the PS3 sucks.Wardemon50

Sounds like you would say this is any editor here would rate a PS3 above average... You sound very suspect.

the whole website is a huge clue to why its biased, inside there are many clues that support why people say GS is biased.

That is one other thing I can't stand about the forums you get in trouble and punished for just about anything on here... and I also agree that the PS3 is really not viewed the same as a 360 from gamepot

Mods here abuse their "power". You can stay on topic, not type any bad words, be informative and still get modded.

And i bet every ps3 owner realized about ps3 game review tends to late and i bet ps3-only owner will take their own initiative go to 360 review or other website so it doesn't bother me too much.

This site contains a great community and excellent source for updates.

The game reviews are just opinions. For the best personal opinion, you collect multiple ones and create an average. Gamespot's just a factor in the average. However you look at it, your opinion is not contained in the average.

Haha, yeah! I have a web of friends where we blog together, make inside jokes, and with more friends, more people respond! Sometimes, we'll have convos inside of blogs spanning past 100 posts, we'll make blog contests, countdowns, or just vent our lives. I love the blogging feature on here :D
