lovely :twisted: instead of blasting your head i seem to have run out of candles so would you kindly stand still while i light you on fire? i would like to send my RRoD 360 to Square Enix and hide a bomb in it as a "thank you" for them porting FFXIII, don't be a naughty boy and move otherwise i might have to blast your legs, i was going to do that anyway if you said 360 again :).

Sony published Final Fantasy VII meaning they helped fund the development of the game. A contract would've been in place which binds the Final Fantasy VII franchise to the Playstation platform. Case in point, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. If a remake is to happen it will either be on the Playstation 3, PSN or PSP. LuckyLy

Uhhh, Sony only published the game outside Japan and Asia. Sony own no part of FFVII. Square US was all but dead by the time FFVII was released so who else was going to publish it? EA made a publishing deal with Square to release Parasite Evea and FFVIII in the US so I suppose EA now own FFVIII and Parasite Eve do they? The whole 2 Square games released in PAL market on the SNES were published by Nintendo seeing as there was no Square Europe so I do they also own "Secret of Mana" and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest? No.

funny I walk into this thread. I'm playing the original FF VII for the first time and I'm a bit worried. What level should I be before taking on Hojo and going to the final set of bosses? I'm approaching level 50 (I think I'm at level 49).

A remake of this game would be amazing.

LvL 59 should do

anywhere really, but heres a couple of tips
Easy Strength Gain You need the Morph materia and a character's ultimate weapon(optional but makes it easier when morphing) for this to work. Go to the Gongaga Reactor(the ruined one) and go to the reactor itself in the place and just walk around until you get into a battle, you should fight a Heavy Tank(the triceratops tank,if i'm right it's a 100% encounter rate) and use morph and it'll turn to a power source. You can keep morphing these guys into power sources and easily max a character's strength out.

Get Knights of the Round Summon To get this cool summon spell you will need to breed a gold chocobo and go to a island that is not on the map but if in the top right corner. In the cave on the island you will find the ultimate summon spell that does 70,000+ damage when used once!

Now I never said Sony own the Final Fantasy VII franchise, all I said was a contract would've been in place that binds the Final Fantasy VII franchise to the Playstation platform. Sony helped with the development of Final Fantasy VII and they allocated $100 million US dollars for ads campaign. Now Sony has no say in a FF VII remake, BUT if it did happen then it will be exclusive on a Playstation platform.

My take on it is:

a. Confirmed FFVII remake for PS3
b. Confirmed FFVII remake for PS3 and 360
c. Something that has to do with the Advent Children:directors cut
d. Another FFVII spinoff (im kinda going with this one)
e. A spinoff that has to do with what happens between Crisis Core and FFVII (ie. how cloud met up with barret or go deeper into barrets story with Myrna and Dyne)

yeah right Symphony lol! I think the 36o has a better chance of getting the PS3 version of MGS4 that fits on one HD DVD plus with exclusive DLC. Oh yeah and instead of Snake carrying around an ipod he walks around with a wii and use wii play to lower stress levels. This was suppose to of been announced at E3 but Don sobered up before he could mention it.
