I'm a tiny bit embaresed cuz I live in an Area when no one beside me have a psp or other handheld gaming devices...

Maybe some childrens have a DS, but handheld gaming is very rare...

Sometimes I feel too childish when playing on it in public xD

I don't agree. I'm pretty sure I can play my PSP in public and not get made fun of. It's kind of a cool thing to have. You're not gonna catch me outside with a DS, though XD. Unless of course I don't have my lunch money (or my dignity) with me.

You all make me feel ooooold. Thanks a lot. LOL

But, no. PSPs of any sort aren't exactly 'cheap toys' in my book and I'm proud to say that I earned every penny I spent on my PSP 3000 and I don't feel embarrassed to be seen playing my PSP out in public.

Besides the games I get to play on it, I also can futz around with music, videos, and the 'net.

Pretty neat if you ask me.

And no, I'm not embarrassed to be seen with my DS Lite, either, even though I see more and more little kids with DSes.

I don't feel embarassed at all. Having a PSP and loving it is nothing to be ashamed of.

If you ask me, DS's are far more "childish" than a PSP.

Ummm.... well I am not embarrassed of my PSP, I am a proud owner of it. It has a fair amount of games, excellent graphics, movies, music on the go, good portability for travel and is hardcore.... go psp!

I love my PSP. More than my Xbox 360! So I'm not embarrassed. I love all the features it has (music, radio, video, internet, skype, comics). And having just recently downloaded Final Fantasy VIII on the PSN It's hardly been put down.

Nah not my psp...my ds on the other hand, it seems like everyone around me is a psp person and wouldn't look twice at a ds. So I'm more hesitant about it.

There is no shame in possessing a PSP. It's not because it's a handheld console it's childish. I've seen many adults play a Nintendo DS and I found it normal. I consider the PSP to be a console more aimed at adults than the DS. It's a great console!

I got my first PSP about two years ago. I believe it was a PSP 2000. I loved it! But then my young son broke off one of the buttons. I tried to take it to Gamestop, as a trade-in, maybe for another PSP. But they couldn't accept it. Well, recently, I've started wanting some of the new games that are out for it. So, today, I went back to Gamestop and bought a white PSP 3000. I love it! I got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters for it. I would never be embarrassed to play either it, or my DSi in public. Even though I am 30 y/o. I've had every Nintendo handheld, and now have the DSi and the Sony PSP. I am just a gamer and I'm not embarrassed about that at all. The whole purpose, for me, for getting these handhelds is for when I'm on the go. Plus, I don't really care for home consoles. I love my handhelds even more than my Xbox 360!

I've never been embarresed but now with my Go people actaully stop and ask what it is. Pretty much I get the response of, "that thing is pretty sweet!". I've even had people tell me after I show it to them that they are going to get one.

Aha! You are not the only one who is dissappointed about the games library. I used to hate it too. I will never sell my gaming units. I will collect them if I have enough money. Remember, after 10 years a gaming system gets vanished forever. Can you find PSone or any PSone games now? I saw an unopened Final Fantasy VII on eBay and the guy was selling it for $200!

Why should I be embarrassed ? The psp is a great system. I'll probably be embarrassed if im on the train with a bunch of guys with the psp go and I have the original psp but other wise why ? Its not only for kids. In fact the psp have more mature tittles then the legendary ds.

Why? There's no reason.

I won a PSP anyways to play short, fast paced games such as Metal Slug.

is this a real q? then give it to some one and the embarrassment is GONE! Just go ahead and give it to the first kid you see on the streets. Not only will you be doing charity!, your feeling of embarrassment shall be gone and substituted by utmost regret!

No way! I bought Motorstorm Arctic Edge 4 days ago and can't put it down. I'm thinking of selling my DS Lite since I never touch that thing anymore.
