Am I the only one who couldn't care less about MGS4 or GTA4?

Just wondered. When I left the store an hour or so ago, I was of course asked if I wanted to reserve GTA4 or MGS4 and I kind of raised a brow and said no, they don't interest me in the least. Well, you can imagine the looks and comments I received were.

For the record, I also find Halo, Gears of War and most other "hits" boring. My one addiction is GR2. Don't know why, I just love blowing up the vehicles and other stuff to crap.

I am an extremely hardcore gamer yet have absolutely no interest in GTA4....I might rent MGS4 but will definitely not buy it and it's not my number one priority to play this game

Im with you, I don't care to much for MGS4, to boring, and GTA4 is the same stuff as usually except the aim system is better. But it's still stupid compared to other games.

I know people will find it hard to believe that there are gamers out there that are not into the MGS or GTA series. That's their preference. We all have our own tastes in games, as everything else.

To tell you the truth, I would tell you that you are right if I wouldn't have bought a ps2. let me explain. I 1st bought an xbox, but disliked it and after 2 months, I exchanged it with the ps2 of one of my friend. But as I gave him my xbox games too, he gave me GTA3, MGS2 and GT3. I didn't want them, but played them anyway since I had them now. Wow, I was really impressed with those 3, and I'm a BIG fan of those since then. I played every GTA games (even those in 2D a bit) and finished all the 3d games of those. I finished all the MGS games on PS1 and PS2, and I finished GT3 and 4 (buying prologue in no time). So I guess I can't support you. I'm gonna buy GTA4 tomorrow morning (the 29) and play a lot till MGS4 pop, then I'll play this one. Sorry. But it's not like everyone likes it. One of my friend don't like GTA games, he just likes to blow things up or beat an old grandmother and after that he's bored, so you're not completly alone, lol.

Makes me wonder sometimes why allot of guys never do much travel because they sit around yelling and insulting other guys just for hating a video game. You might as well be two girls fighting over who has the best looking dress instead of telling each other you both look beautiful. Anyway GTA4 is way to over hyped to begin with. As for MGS4 I wish I had the money to throw away on consoles instead of college. Then sure I would be waiting to play that one and fable 2. Maybe a Shenmue 3 if Sega ever decides to make one. I've never in my life got overly excited about a video game. Except when I was growing up playing games likE Steets Of Rage 2. But now Im old enough to know. I rather be out there traveling, meeting people, and living life rather than playing some stupid game thats going to get old within 3 weeks of playing it. Give me a FF7 remake for the PS3 and I'll be more than happy. Or a decent Castlevania game in 3D that isn't rubbish.

I mean what bastard honestly says "GTAIV is the greatest game ever since Zelda Ocarina of time?" That Zelda wasnt even all that popular! No N64 game was really popular to the point where people thought it was the greatest. Why? Because apparently PS1 had better games than the N64.
