yes you are becaue i think they both looked amazing..especialy after the dreadful multiplats we have seen painting a bad picture of the ps3...now its coming into its own.
well i dislike the MGS series and the "gameplay" for killzone 2 wasnt very interesting to me-DirtySanchez-
why the quotations. that was gameplay they have a whole video with the guy playing through the whole entire level. dont tell me you think it was cgi still
You are, i guess you bought the wrong system (x360) and to make up for the loss of money you wan't to come here and try to convince urself that the PS3 isn't THAT good. Well you got it wrong!
And if u dont have an x360 but a PS3 well...then i don't know what ur trying to do here..
Even the Kotaku post about the MGS4 gameplay demo said it looked 'amazing, and I'm not even a big MGS fan' (plus Kotaku are about as anti-Sony as they come). Killzone2 - look at the lightning effects and tell me it doesnt look amazing, and the gameplay needs no exlpanation - just watch the demo. If you think it looks terrible, I'd consult an optician.

I haven't been impressed with MGS4 (prefer Splinter Cell myself but MGS certainly does have incredbile storylines) but as a PC gamer Killzone 2 is an incredible FPS graphically and my guess is that it will have at least above average gameplay. KZ 2 may not revolutionize the FPS industry (or it might, we can't be sure) but it will certainly be a fun game that looks awesome.
Dont really see how those two games could not impress anyone considering they are probably the most graphically eye catching games we have yet to see... but like they say some people will never be happy

Killzone 2 does not excite me. I'm not a fan of shooters and that one especially looks to be style over substance. I am looking forward to MGS 4, though.
KZ2 and MGS4 just proved that the CG movies where 95% accurate to the actual game graphics. The game play looks great on both games, so I would say you are alone on this one by a long shot.

Nah, Im not that impressed either, if I bought a game just on the way a trailer looked, Id have Transformers already. These games look ok, but I wish Sony would pick two different games as the big guns. Everybody wants these games, I could care less about either two. We are each entitled to our opinion though, my favorite genres are not war shooters obviously.
Guess I'll have to keep waiting for God of War 3, till then Heavenly Sword.

Killzone was beautiful graphicly but nothing gamplay wise impressed me(i guess it's just shooter overload).
But the live demo of metal gear was awesome and im not even a metal gear fan, i played the first psone metal gear and then i played the ps2 metal gear that had raiden as the the main guy, i tried to play metal gear snake eater but the controls were just annoying imo.
Ive always liked the storys in metal gear and after seeing mgs4 i think its time to play the ones i missed, nothing really has impressed me on ps3 there are some games i want like uncharted but when i seen mgs4 my first thought was this is the reasonn to buy a ps3.
KZ2 looks great and beside the not so great exture the gameplay looks pretty good but the AI may need some work. As for MGS4 im not to interested in it but it looks good. One thing i noticed in the trailer was that some of the shadows are pretty bad a jagged.
