Whos getting Gears of War for PC?

Ive been looking forward for this game for almost a year. Amazing how Epic Games is including 4 more chapters then the orignal on the x360. With the new Brumak monster on this game all for the PC, this game will be awesome. I will definitely be getting this game.

Have it for the 360 but will pick this up to just have a wide range of genres on my pc. Great game however I just hope the community will be a bit more matured than what xbox live offered.

i knew this was going to be ported to the PC! (I hope the controls are good... you know, nothing too bizarre... i dont feel in the mood of buying a control for my PC)

That would be a very stupid move from epic if they didnt release a demo. Im not gonna buy a game with that high requirments if i havent seen how it runs on my midrange pc.

Right on! :D Actually I'm interested in ALOT of games coming out soon, but Gears is definitely one of the top.

The two machines in your sig are similar to the two primary gaming machines I have (one desktop and one laptop). Does the wife prefer the laptop in your house? :P Anyway, Gears is going to rock via coop (assuming they don't neuter LAN/online coop functionality) with the wife or when a buddy comes over :D :D

If anyone wants to know if they can run the game just try the UT3 demo, it's the same engine and the same developer. Also if you've already played Bioshock and it runs ok you should also be able to play Gears (also uses the unreal 3 engine).

I might get it for the extra chapters, but for now I am still enjoying the online on my 360.

Not according to Windows game finder on Microsoft's web site. They say VISTA ONLY.

It sucked on the 360 and it'll suck on the PC, i found it to be a mediocre third person shooter which was short and had a poor story which no character development. The game did nothing new and also had crap annoying controls and a buggy multiplayer where the only good gun is the shotgun.

This game only got all the reviews it did because of the great graphics and artwork, not because of the gameplay. Epic maybe masters of graphics engines but they have yet to create a original epic masterpeice.
