Manhunt....Nuff said.HaSheeSh_basic


Man hunt is pretty graphy, but nothing beats postal 2, its the only game where you can douse a guy in gasoline, light him on fire, and pee on him to put it out or watch him burn to a crisp.

Have yuo even played Postal 2? Sorry, but you can't throw scissors someone in the eye, piss on them, and set to fire in SoF2.

sof 2 was bloody weak compared to sof 1. i stopped playing sof 2 for the fact that it was depressing given that i shot everybody in the leg with a shotty in sof just to see them hop around like an idiot before i shot them again

i'd probably first try to distinguish between gore and violence. the OP asked about gore, which seems to indicate SoF2. peeing on someone and lighting them on fire isn't the tiniest bit gory at all.

The thing about manhunt is that it's gory, bloody, but not really that disturbing.

It's old I know, but Rise of the Triad, man talk about juicy. When you blow the crap out of guys eyeballs would dribble down the screen, not to mention blood and guts flying in all directions, then when you put EKG mod on guts would fly throughout the entire room! Good times, Good times ;). I believe it was rated "most violent game of the year" actually.

You want decapitation? Notice the body with no limbs, the arm in the back, the head on the left, and you cant see the other arm or legs because they are behind the barrier.

Actually, from the pics you showed on this thread FEAR doesn't look that bad. SOF2 takes the cake in gore, or Bloodrayne 2. To whomever doesn't believe me go and look at some images from both SOF2 and Bloodrayne 2.

Violence is the act of aggression to cause the gore, the gore itself is all the blood and guts spilled, smeared, splattered, or splotched.

You are saying FEAR doesnt look to bad? What makes SOF2 or Postal 2 more gory?  didnt see more blood or more decapitation in any other screens of those games.

what about the uncut version of the punisher, thay had to edit lots of the killing with drills, saws, etc because it was too violent and gory. Now the screen goees grey and we can't see it well.

I've heard and seen some things from the Suffering, Punisher, and Postal, but I still say that Bloodrayne 2 is THE goriest game ever made.

I got Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks for the PS2 and it had a demo of The Suffering Ties that Bind. My friend was over @ my house, we played some Shaolin Monks, and then he was just goofing off looking around the game's contents and found the demo. The game was dark, freaky, and not the kind of game you'd want to play before bedtime.

My friend was over @ my house, we played some Shaolin Monks, and then he was just goofing off looking around the game's contents and found the demo. Soldier of Fortune and it's sequel were pretty gory games. I really like how you shoot someone in the throat and they fall to the group gurlging and choking on their own blood. Slash them with a knife and blood will spurt out. It was gory, but definatly a lot of fun playing with the location damage.

Here's a game that's not often heard of:

Blade of Darkness

It's the best pic I could find. The headless guy is not a zombie but a guy who got his head cut off too fast to react. The fun part of this game is that the head isn't the only thing that can come off, and if you're not careful yours will come off as readily as the enemy's :D

yep, Blade of Darkness is awesome. but Postal 2 is REALLY much more gore than SoF2 and Blade of Darkness

reading nearly 30 pages of messages I think it should be divided to several type.

most gory 3rd person game

most gory FPS

most gory RTS

and my choice are :

3 rd person : blade of darkness ! have u ever seen ur chaaracter's head and hands chop into pieces by the boss? Have ever seen ur arm flew away with ur big shield beacuse u cannot block the mighty blow of the boss? It never happen in bloodrayne and die by the sword.

FPS: postal2 ! I don't have much to say except one word "this game is crazy". Kicking pp heads just like football.(blood 2 seems gory too)

RTS: my choice is starcraft. See the marine killed by zerg!

I'm not good at english. I hope u guys can understand what i'm saying.

Okay time to lay down some science for yall.

Okay, what's the game that has the more gore? That is Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix. You can shoot off parts of someones face, their body, their arms, feet, hands. It is the only game that has such a highly detailed level of gore.

Manhunt doesn't. Manhunt is disturbing but beyond that, most of the violence is implied. Really, the worst thing you can do in Manhunt is decapitate someone. Everything else is implied. Okay you stab someone in the eye, right but you don't see the gaping wound, you don't pull his eye out ect.. Really, I'd say Manhunt is the most disturbing game rather then sheer gore.

As for Postal, sorry but the graphics in postal are too terrible to even be considered. It's cartoony and awkward and by no means highly gory.

SOFII is in reality the game that contains the most gore.
