Got the Skyrim legendary and left for dead 2. i don't have the left for dead 1 thought, lets see if they also put that on sale!

I think the L4D1 maps are free in L4D2, so save your money and enjoy, L4D2 is the better one in my opinion.

There's no option to play as Bill in L4D2.

As such, L4D > L4D2.

you can play as bill in the L4D1 maps that were ported into L4D2.

What do you guys think of State of Decay. I'm a big zombie fan, but I haven't been quite sold on any of the zombie games lately: The Dead Linger (lookin good as a 30% in progress game), Contagion, and State of Decay. State of Decay from what I understand is XBLA, of course, and its capacity is only 2GB. So yeah, with only that much XBLA game size to work with, it is pretty good what they've been able to do with it. I just wish they were able to do more with the PC version but it is... Microsoft we're dealing with.

How is it? Is it a must-have? I feel like some of the gameplay, like melee combat looks repetitive and dull. The finishers are pretty nice though. Just my opinion but it looks like you just explore the world pressing and hold a button to loot stuff, and that's nice and all if it was an MMO.

What really makes this game tick? A good game to play and not just pass the time?

Sorry for all the questions but I'd really like to know what drives a lot of people to play this game. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've done some research and searched everywhere but I can't seem to find a definitive answer for an FOV (field of view) fix for this game. Is there one?

This is my first Steam sale since I put together a real gaming computer that can actually play modern games. I fear for my bank account.

I remember my first Steam sale. I was like this :O + :D

Now every passing sale I'm like this :|

I usually just get gifts for people now. I have nearly everything I want + those random games that I'll never play.

I ended up buying Sleeping Dogs, Final Fantasy VII and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Legendary Edition yesterday. I still have some money left, so hopefully some other game(s) that I want will go on sale. At the moment, I'm considering picking up Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.

I was waiting for one game to get during this sale and it went on sale today, dead space 2 for $5.00. Finally played the first and I thought it was very good could not wait to play the sequel so was hoping for a flash deal. Soon as I beat Black Flag I will be playing it. Also about Black Flag I am surprised how good it is, because after 3 I was disappointed and felt like it was a huge downgrade compared to 2.

I am still waiting for Far Cry 3 to drop to 7.50. I know Amazon had the sale, but I have money in my Steam Wallet. I picked up Dark Souls today for 6 bucks and patiently waiting for something else.

Ya, I'm actually surprised I've gotten anything. I did pick up Sonic Racing for $5 on amazon, sleeping dogs for $5, and surgeon simulator 2013 for $2.50.

I'll probably pick up the Doom pack since Brutal Doom looks so good. $7.50 for 4 games isn't bad, but I'll see if it hits a flash deal (doubt it'll get daily deal).

But definitely not getting 10+ games like the first couple of sales since I already own most of the games going on sale or still waiting for that good price drop. (I'm looking at your Darksiders 2 and Borderlands 2 :P)

Just picked up Poker Night 2 for $0.99. First one is also $0.99.

I can say that if you like poker and some funny dialogue you can't go wrong with Poker Night 1. I'm hoping the same for 2.

Yeah I played a "copy" of far cry 3 and didnt like too much of it, it is a good enough game to own though and I like to give the developers some money after what I did to play the game when it came out. Played Monaco for a little bit tonight and love it.

Sweet. Well, I hope you purchased both of them. W1 was less than $3 and W2 was $5, correct me if I'm wrong. Both excellent games, although I prefer the first one.

I am thinking of picking up Godus or Age of Empire II HD... It has been awhile since I have played Age of Empire, but Godus does look to be an ok game. I may just end up saving my last 10 bucks on a weekend sale or something.

I have fond memories of my first real Steam Sale. It was the Summer Sale of 2011 since that was when I built a PC that could run modern games back then. I bought a shed load of games.

All I've bought this time is State of Decay. I'm a little too distracted by problems with my gaming PC right now.

Welcome to Left 4 Dead 2. It's about time. :P Man, that game is a blast. 80+ hours and I'm still not bored of that game but I do want me some Left 4 Dead 3. Damn it Valve(time).
