Since the PC & Mac Games forum, A/V Forum and Hardware Forum have been mashed together into a tangled mess, I'm going to try and sort the huge number of stickies. So I'm designated this the current Screenshots sticky. Going to unstick a few things due to it being very overcrowded.

Yeah, this new quoting system is god-awful. Regarding the screens, I never thought the 800-width limit was really a problem, since the site had built-in resizing tools in the post menu, and you could just open them in a new tab to see full size. And even now, with larger pics in the forum itself, they still don't appear full size until opening them in a separate window. In fact, they appear even smaller than 800-width. Looks like 500 or so.

The forum uploads them and hosts them here apparently. For me, the images stretch out as large as the browser will allow them. So I'm seeing my screenshots go wider than 800. Probably closer to 1200. But the browser resizing makes them look a bit blurry.

Ah okay, I see. I usually don't have my browser window this wide, but now I see going bigger does make the screens adjust to fit. That's cool I guess. Still doesn't even begin to make up for the other crappy changes.
Is that The Old Republic? How's the F2P model? Any good? If I want more star wars, should I try it, or go back and finally finish KOTOR and KOTOR 2?
Yep that's TOR. F2P model is probably the worst I've ever seen in my life. Having subbed previously and getting store credit for doing so, i removed a lot of the bullshit restrictions. That said, if you are in need of a star wars fix like I am lately, you can get to level 50 and do all the storylines for no charge. It's worth checking out, and the core game has improved since a year ago when it was tearing apart at the seams. I rolled fresh on the Jung Ma server a few days ago to start over....can't stand pvp server populations...so many kids.
They should just let folks link to images if they want and the browser should resize in the same manner that GAF does it. My screenshots look good at all sizes there.

I feel like so many little things, that made browsing and posting on the previous forums fun, were cut for some reason.

Yeah. All they needed to do was improve stability, but they went and made a whole shitload of cosmetic changes, just for the sake of change, and almost every change is universally terrible. Plus, at least for me, the site is even slower and more unstable than it used to be. Think I'm done here. Any of you guys frequent any other forums?

Other than my own community forums, I dont really...which is why I keep popping back in here. That or i just chat with people on steam
I've been messing with Space Engine recently and took some pretty pictures. The best ones for me are the ones with binary stars in the background with planets and moons in the foreground. I also like using spaceships as size comparison to these planets, as seen by the little dot in the middle image.
@Jd1680a: Nice Space Engine shots. Protip: You can take screenshots without the HUD by pressing F11. The're saved to the "screenshot" folder in the game folder. If you'd rather take higher quality screens (not jpegs) with some other program, you can disable the HUD with Ctrl + ~ .
Also.. holy crap the new way that GS handles posting images is terrible. Everything is uploaded and re-hosted. It's ridiculous. Also makes editing quotes a pain. I used to just hit "quote" on someone's post, and then scroll over the images, selecting them like text, and hit backspace to delete them, just like text. Apparently that doesn't work anymore. I have to click on each individual image, and use the mouse to click the little delete button. And after doing that, I was somehow stuck inside the quote, and couldn't select outside the quote, to type my own damn response. Had to refresh the page to get out of it.
I just posted a tom cruise laugh GIF in another thread, and that was my first time actually trying to post an image since the redesign. What a god damn pain. I used to post screens in here all the time, but if that's the new process for posting images, I'm done with that, too. This fucking site...
Edit: Okay, good. At least GS doesn't convert high quality images to shitty jpegs when it re-hosts them.
Edit: Also... Oh my god. It's seriously making me go through the "do you want to crop or rotate?" and the size and and screen orientation options for every single image, even though I keep clicking the "do not ask me again" button. This is just ridiculous. What a fucking joke of a redesign.
Alright...let's try this again. It would be nice if the post looked the same in the "post screen" as it actually does when it's posted, particularly the text position...

I'm not really a fan of posting much at all in general anymore. It's clunky,slow and awkward tosift throught he boards now and merging with others was a dumb fucking idea

I read some user reviews and it is funny how mad people get over stupid stuff.
Sure the game is adding more eye candy to Aya but part of the reason they did not do that in the past was because of visual limitations.
The only thing I agree with in the review is that Aya's personality has changed dramatically but the could be explained from the amnesia which I know is way overused.
One review was so ridiculous that they said the gameplay was,"press x to win"......I actually like the combat and found it an improvement over the previous games.
Well anyway here is one of the eye candy aspects of the game.
