I wanted to buy Shadow Warrior but my Steam was messing about with me and I wasn't able to get it for £22 :( I'll get it later on in the year!
How is the game anyway? 

I just got an invite for the family sharing thingy on Steam a few minutes ago as well :D 

Alien Rage is about the most generic game you could ever possibly play. But it has solid shooter mechanics. It's actually pretty fun. I enjoy some of the weapons. Not bad at all for $20 and it keeps an avid screenshotter like me busy. However, it's going to have to go on my backlog while I play....

Haven't really played teh game much yet. Just jumped in to do some resolution and performance testing. These are downsampled from 6000x3000, heh.

It's awesome ! It's like Painkiller and MGR: Revengeances sword combat had a baby.

Graphically it's very impressive as well. I personally got the game from the Humble store as it was the cheapest for me and it gave me a DRM free copy of the game as well as a steam key.

NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona on Dolphin. I gotta say it doesn't look too bad for a Gamecube game.

Played more Shadow Warrior. It's taking me around an hour to finish each level, and there are like 17 of them :o

I love how you can use the environment to explode enemies, put them on fire or electrocute them.

Haven't posted here a while, but just had to post Metro Last Light. Probably the best looking game I've ever seen. Pics don't even do it justice.

It's a really great looking game :D Plus the decaptitation system is really nice, which makes the melee combat feel even better and there is a lot of destructibility in the enviroments. 

I think it's very interesting how 2 of the best looking games this year, Metro and this one, were made on such a small budget. A budget that is far outshined by some AAA games marketing budget.

Had a bunch of GTA V shots lying around so I thought I'd share before deleting them. Such a great looking game. The lighting is amazing sometimes. Really hope a PC version comes good AA,AF and 1080p would do a LOT for this game

Shadow Warrior. Sadly, their minimum FOV is too high for 21:9 I think. Too stretchy at the edges for my liking. So I've been sticking with 2:1.

Was able to play it for a few minutes for the first time.

I don't even know where to begin.  The game looks great, is massive, and I have no idea what I'm doing.

It seems to have improved a lot over 2013. The UI is much nicer and they seem to have optimized it quite a bit. I've owned it since 2012 and you get the yearly updates for free, just with no new content.

Its tough to recomend at $57 though. Wait for a sale unless you know you'd really enjoy it.

Battlefield 4 Beta. This map is insanely huge.

I plan to give BF4 a shot tonight. From what I've seen, there doens't seem to be any visual upgrade from BF3 as far as fidelty goes. I can't wait to see the weather and water changes on some of the maps though.

No offense ya'll but lets play something besides Shadow Warrior. It has become a Shadow Warrior thread and BF4 beta has been out since 1am PST. I'm surprised of the lack of BF4 screenshots. :PElann2008

Wasting time in GTA V until Online gets sorted out.

Went for a cruise/photoshoot.

So here's my initial thoughts after only about 20 minutes of play time:

Looks better than Battlefield 3, but not by much.

Shooting and movement have been drastically improved... not once have I gotten "reset" while mounting cover, a regular occurence in BF3.  The game handles, overall, better than 3.  On the other hand, since it IS a beta, the game has stuttering issues, even on Nvidia's latest beta drivers.

For starters, this is where the gun sways for a second or two when you begin sprinting.  Maybe it's just me, but in the heat of a firefight, I'm used to the obvious instant feedback of the gun snapping down when I sprint.  When the gun sways for a bit, it isn't as obvious... probably just something to get used to.

The sun is bright but is no longer an issue!  Hooray!  Also, those clouds look great.

Did I mention the game looks better than Battlefield 3?
