This might end up being my next card. I have been dying to upgrade and I don't think I can make it until next year for maxwell, hopefully Amazon lists the 760's soon though because they're going to be charging us (NJ) tax on the 1st of July and I would hate to have to get hit with it however measly it might be.

For value, it's similar to the 7950, the 7950 performs better (when both are overclocked, not at stock) and costs a bit more.  I feel like it will age better than the 760 though, what with the more VRAM and apparently a lot more overclocking headroom.

-7950 is more expensive

-700 series is based on 600 series, which isn't exactly brand new

-GTX 760 is still faster until you get into extreme overclocking.  Even then, it still holds an advantage in some games.

I don't know about 'murica but in the UK the 760 is slightly cheaper on average than the 7950.

Cool means we might see a price drop for the 600 series and AMD will probably drop their price too. Works well for me because I really need to upgrade my 460
