Neverwinter nights 2 and Stalker... stalker runs good on my system but I feel that it could run better... Last time I played NWN2 it ran like poo poo(scientific term)... I don't know if some of the patches they have released have fixed anything but it felt like it was imbedded deep with in the game code and no patch would fix it... both games don't look great by any means and in no way should run like crap on any system made after 2004...

Did you realise that your sig says you have "2 x Geforce 9750 GT KO"
LOL
I know what I have in my PC I did build it... was there another point to your post because I don't understand what point you are trying to make....
I have 2 Geforce GT KOs 512MB/ea the one in the link to be precise...
My friend said Half Life 2 was crap because Valve didn't optimize it at all. I was kind of looking at him inquiringly because I could get it to run on a computer with only 128 MB of ram and a 32MB ATI card. It turned out to be a ton of viruses and spyware so now I always make sure to check for that before I call a game poorly optimized because it could sometimes not be the developers fault.G4mbl3
Haha, HL2 is the most well optimized game ever.
Anyway, the worst optimized games that I've played would be:
The Gothic games
Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines
Deus Ex 2 (Atleast I remember it being pretty bad.)
One of the Warhammer 40k games that I tried playing a few weeks ago, it looked like **** basically, but ran really poorly, I had to quit playing. I hate 3D RTS's

I know nothing about graphics cards but I clicked on your link and the number on the box says 7950, while you typed 9750...I think you just transposed the first two numbers, which is why someone pointed that out...it's ok, I used to work in banking and did that/saw that happen quite a bit.
I have STALKER and trust me, Top Spin 2 and Test Drive Unlimited are about 10 times worse!!
STALKER, with dynamic lighting and AA turned off runs fine on my setup. Top Spin 2 does not even let you turn off AA and whatever lighting effect it uses! You dont know what poorly optimised is until you try Top Spin 2!!!

OK then. But in your sig it says you have a 9750GT [a card which doesn't even exist]. I think you got the number 7 and 9 the wrong way around. :P
Silent Hunter 4 hands downTiesto05
Totally, it bogs down my dual-core like none other.
Then I gotta say Supreme Commander and STALKER.
hehe. good one
[QUOTE="Grim_Reaper56"]I would say Halo 2.

That's not even possible....
What are you talking about!! You can turn AA and dynamic lighting off!
hl2 source engine because the bad netcode and how cpu intensive it is which is further hurt by the fact valve has yet to release any kind of update for multicore processors.
stalker because the time they spent on development and yet it ships with plenty of bugs and horrible dynamic lighting.
supreme commander takes the cake though for a game with such simplistic ie bad graphics the game still chugs along even when on a top of the line computer. sure the game has a massive scale but the poor performance of the game shows the quality of the programming involved and the amount of effort they put in to make it playable without hiccups.

HL2 is like the best optimized game. You can run it on high with like nothing.

oops. I thought you said you had dynamic lighting on with AA off and it ran fine on your setup. I have a 7600 GT and turning on dynamic lighting dropped my frames to around 30FPS and I got major stuttering.(I talking about 10 second hangs) So i just misread your post. Turning off dynamic lighting effectively makes the game look like it was made in 2003 though.
I almost forgot Hidden & Dangerous *twitch*
Not only was the game poorly optimised, but it had the most glitches I've ever seen.

yeah i dont see how hl2 is poorly optimized.i use the lost coast benchmark everytime I buy a new cpu or gpu.only issue was the sound stutter and last time I played ep2 there wasnt any skipping at all so its fixed i think.
2 more 2 consider.
Dark Messiah and Vampire Bloodlines both used the Source engine from what I understand and still managed to run poorly, although not terribly, but when you consider the fact that they both use a highly optimized engine it is quite dissappointing.
You guys that say STALKER must not have been playing PC games for very long, anyone remember a little title called deus ex invisible war? That game ran like complete **** on everyones system, STALKER ran just perfectly on my 6800gs, 20 - 40 fps and it was very playable.
