3240x1920... I guess that would be 3 1080p monitors, turned sideways, and put next to each other? I'm just imagining that, and it looks pretty boss.

Yep, always wanted to try it, and:

Those bezels would annoy the f*ck out of me.

Always best to go for the most thin ones.

Even if the SLI scaling in this game is awesome, I fall slightly under the optimum with my GTX 670 SLI. I should still be able to max it out at 1080p, perhaps with AA disabled or set to low. I'm not super hyped for this game anyway. Stalker does the atmosphere better and I much prefer the gameplay.

Nice. The width of those bezels would definitely annoy me during gaming, though. If I had that setup, I'd probably move the monitors to slightly overlap each other, to cut the width of the bezels in half.

And be sure to use bezel correction as well. TBH I might do this in the future once I get my 1600p monitor.

My buddy did this

that's a sweet setup. Looks like he's doing some music production. I'll be doing a lot of that once I build my new system. Seriously considering multiple monitors. Maybe not right away, though.

Yeah, he's a sound designer for a game studio.  He got a Saxxy award in TF2 as well

Dude that's awesome. I can't wait to get a kickass studio desk setup goin on once I get a new system. I'm currently recording an album with my band, and the producer we're working with has such a badass mixer/soundboard/computer/desktop thing goin on. Makes me so jelly. It is nice to have someone else doing all that work, though. Used to be me and a laptop and fruity loops doing all the production on our shitty demos. :P

we'll see about Last Light. Crysis 3 was expected to be the highest demanding yet to date but didnt turn out that way. My FX-8320 and 2GB 7870 at stock speeds run it @ Ultra\4x MSAA with 45-60fps.

...i wouldnt be able to stand the bezels showing like that. better off getting 1 or 2 of the new super-wide:. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005396

though the FOV wouldn't be enveloping you the same way as 3x eyefinity.

with Last Light getting so close figured i'd load up Metro2033 again for the 1st time since finishing about 2 years ago. damn, still looks better than most stuff since. was definitely a memorable game and more suspenseful than any horror game i've ever played. runs super smooth but still pushed my temps like any 2012-13 DX11 game. i could imagine Last Light being pretty demanding. can't imagine how hot it was running on my Radeon 4890 i had when it came out, was probably in the 70°s. love the new technology, have never broken 55° with anything on the new card.

Looks like I fit under the Optimum System Requirements. How about you guys?

"On a technical level, Last Light is leaps and bounds beyond 2033, increasing texture quality through the use of incredibly detailed 2048x2048 textures, and geometric detail through the use of extra environmental and object-based tessellation. And like its predecessor, Metro: Last Light also features hardware-accelerated NVIDIA PhysX effects that enable the realistic destruction of scene objects during combat, and the enhancement of other game elements, like particle effects."

"For Metro: Last Light, developer 4A Games has optimized the 4A Engine, ensuring it runs far faster than the version seen in 2033, even when theres more action and more technology on-screen in Last Light."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minimum System Requirements - To run the game.

Windows: XP (32-Bit), Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 2.2 GHz Dual Core
RAM: 2GB
Direct X: 9.0c
Graphics Card: DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant. NVIDIA GTS 250/AMD Radeon HD 4850 or higher

Recommended System Requirements - To play at high setting, or near it, at 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x 1200.

Windows: Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 2.6 GHz Quad Core, e.g. Intel Core i5
RAM: 4GB
Direct X: 11
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 580 or 660 Ti / AMD Radeon HD 7950

Optimum System Requirements - To play maxed out at 2560 x 1440 or 2560 x 1600.

Windows: Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 3.4 GHz Multi-Core, e.g Intel Core i7 2600k/3770k - AMD FX-8350
RAM: 8GB
Direct X: 11
Graphics Card: [NVIDIA GTX 680 SLI / NVIDIA GTX 690 / NVIDIA Titan] / [AMD Radeon HD 7970 CrossfireX/AMD Radeon HD 7990]

Actually nvidia recommended 660ti or hd 7870 not 7950.7950 is competitor of 670.Kindly correct that line. http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/metro-last-light/system-requirements

Lets hope the game supports it because I'm hearing that some games don't work with 2560x1080.

Looks like I will be falling under "recommended". It makes me wonder what the system requirements will be for next generation games.
