DX11 doesn't work well, but besides that, the PC version is the best one to get.

There were some DX11 problems but I think finally it's all been sorted,. It's really a great gameacanofcokeWell, not it hasn't. Not for all GPUs. Tested with GTX 580 and 670 and Arkham City DX11 issues hasn't changed since first week launch. Thankfully, TC, you can play in DX9 and enjoy about the same visual quality. You won't be able to tell much aside from the physX enabled graphics features.
Game is amazing. Much better than Arkham Asylum as well. As if that were possible! :DMythPro1I agree. Believe it or not, I didn't like Asylum, much. Detective mode really killed it. Redundant mess, if you ask me. The rest of the game is pretty good-ish though. But somehow, in the magical land of Rocksteady Studios, they pushed out another gem Arkham City that's even better. A lot better actually. Aside from the DX11 woes, the game is outstanding.

There were a lot of myths spread by angry forum nerds, not here but elsewhere, saying the game was "buggy and broken" when it was released. That's boulder dash. I can run it in Dx11 fine and it has a few extra lighting effects. Putting the game in Dx9 and its still pretty great. Its extremely playable with a keyboard and mouse too.[QUOTE="dragonballz4"][QUOTE="gameofthering"]

Amazing game and yes i played it on the PC too, it looks and plays amazing. Now don't get me wrong i'd be lying if i said the PC version didn't have problems one of which is DX11 running poorly but i believe you can work around that. Other than that you're in for a treat one of my top 10 games for sure.

dx 11 problems were patched a while ago, it works fine now, at least for me, and if it doesn-t you can run it flawlessly in dx 9 mode that-s still way better than the console versions.

PC version is incredible. There was some problems before with DX11 being super unoptimized, and running like crap, but I believe they've all been fixed in patches. But yeah, PC version is the definitive version. One of the best ports ever. Looks a generation beyond the console versions, if you can run it at decent settings, with physx.Â

Maybe on your machine...on my system it ran flawless in dx11...it looks 100x better than the console version...and it is one of the best looking games out there.
Having player both the PC version and the PS3 version, I can confidently say the PC version is much smoother and better looking. Worth it imo
Great game, pc version is fine as long as you don't play it in DX11. It is widely known, and common information that Batman's AC DX11 is a broken, buggy mess.
Even physx works pretty good in it.
However, I am one of the few people who thought that Arkham Asylum was done better in many ways.Â
The first game's story was considerably more consistant. Exploration was less, but it seemed like the time you spent with each main bad guy, or segment, was longer. It performed considerably better too.Â
Â
AC looks better, has better combat mechanics. Some very interesting moments. But the game didn't hold my attention as long as the first game did. I got every riddle and trophy on the first game, on the second I got about 90% of them, before I got bored, and had to uninstall due needing more hdd space.
The second game had a feel that they tried to put too much in there, and it shortened the other experiences to fit them in there.Â
Â
I would recommend it easily for $15 or below.Â
