Try a different virus thing like Mcafee - not to be confused with the actor Mcavoy.

Don't delete the file whatever you do!

Ok...it it's the actually retail Warcraft 3 disk and not a backup copy, there really should be no chance that it has a trojan on there, so your anti virus is probably just mistaking a file on there for something harmful. And there's no way you can heal a CD or DVD disk. Most of the time, it's read-only.

It's "almost" impossible that your retail copy has been infected with a virus. If there was a specific Warcraft 3 virus, then we would have heard it more. Either you have a backup copy, a seperate virus that has just affected your install of Warcraft 3, or a pirated version with an imbedded virus. Either way, go and get a new copy for cheap or keep searching the net for a fix.

False positive. That is my educated guess. If its the original retail discs, there is no way it has a virus. Get Avast instead of AVG btw.

How the hell can you delete a file from a CD ?

Anyway, it's probably not a trojan, it's just your antivirus

Wow what is the average age in this forum? There are two things I've taken away from this thread..

1. There are people who get burnt trying to pirate and yet have the audacity to publicly ask for help. There are no viruses on your disc. You either have a pirated copy or your computer is virus infected and you have bigger problems than whether the game will run.

2. There are people who don't realize how stupid it is to put personal information, true or not, on the internet in any form or another. I'm going to assume some of the people here are under 16 and that your parents are ignorant of how stupid their children are acting.

If neither 1 or 2 applies to you please ignore this post.

Oh please. Your name and email adress being known won't cause harm to come to you, and your phone number being given out will just lead to annoying phone calls, if anything.

Hope you are not taking my post serious...just try getting in contact with me via any of that information. And FYI, I'm 21 years old and tend to be very sarcastic, online and off.
