The ending of Metal Gear Solid 3 is the only one that comes to mind. There were probably a few other moments in games here and there (most recently Mordin's last scene in ME3) but nothing as profound as MGS3...

Lost Odyssey, the short stories and the encounter with the daughter. kaealy
This game (Lost Odyssey), Red Dead Redemption and Heavy Rain are reasons im glad i got some consoles, loved those 3 :P
I dont play my consoles much compared to pc, but those 3 above are really the only console games taht ive enjoyed as much as pc games this gen.
The little stories n what not in LO are just amazing, they writing was fantastic, very heart felt.

Glad to hear, I just started Red Dead yesterday (my first game on new consoles ever -- Xbox 360), played it for 4 hours and so far I'm loving it. But I'm a mega noob with the controller, it will take a while to get used to it.
Wing Commander Prophecy (When Hawk dies)
Mass Effect (when Kaidan died)
ME2- when I lost 4 or 5 crewmembers during the suicide mission on my first playthrough
ME3- When Miranda dies
Half-life 2- Episode 2- When Eli dies
World in Conflict- When Bannon's whole company gets nuked in Cascade Falls
Nier the games is really sad on repeated plays, i really should play lost odyssey.
I might have cried during the end of bastion but i think i just felt a heavy weight on my shoulders.
Fighting pixy in ace combat zero when i was twelve. There was frustration, betrayal, stress of beating him i sobbed like crazy buddy, and that music man, it was intense. I beat him about a year latter.
There was also MGS3, that ending made it one of the best games i've ever played i was totally submerged in the character of snake at the end i was as bitter as him no tears though just anger.
To broaden this I will say a few games that evokd feelings in general.
Max Payne series
Bioshock
Mass Effect
MGS Snake Eater
Condemned series
Dead Space series
The Suffering
PoP series
And a bunch more. When a game can reach that level of detail I consider them forms of art. I read a lot too, but my some of my friends (women) still insist they are not art lol and can't compare to a book...It's the same with me and graffiti. Some of it's art and the rest of it's just crap. But I guess this is subjective :P
What the hell is with all the spoilers kris9031998
