Sometimes i leave my pc on for with screensaver, but recently after i've finished using it, i turn it off. I never use hibernate.

some people say it damages the pc always shutting down the pc and then starting it cold damages the pc. but shutting it down save on the electric bill which saves more over the long term i guess.

I usually turn it off, unless I get up early, then I need the PC to play music to wake me up. I have an SSD so I don't use sleep, but HDD's automatically turn off after a while. They seem to make the most noise in my PC.

I leave it on. I stream games from the other two computers in the house at any time, and wake on LAN has never seemed to be that reliable for me.

Off, having SSD and activating sleep mode damages your SSD lifespan, either lock it or turn it off.

Using hibernate will put some writes, but realistically isn't going to shorten the lifespan in a meaningful way. Sleep mode doesn't write to your ssd.

I use sleep mode most of the time, or just leave it on. I rarely turn my pc off fully.

I have mine set to sleep if when inactive for 1 hour. Monitor comes off when inactive for 10 minutes.

The only time I turn it completely off is when I'm going out of town.

Sleep during the day when i'm not on and off at night. Sometimes if I don't get on in the morning it will stay off the whole night along with majority of the day.

Sleep mode for me. Mostly because if I have to reboot for some reason Windows takes a long time to detect my keyboard.
