This has been a problem for a few days know and it hasn't gone away even though I use avast, spybot, and malwarebytes to see if there was any viruses or malware on my computer. Did a flush dns and that did nothing. any other options I should try?

Won't load at all ? try accessing those websites with a proxy , if the proxy succeeded then most likely the problem is from your ISP .

well it does load, but it takes a few tries. but I'll try using a proxy to see if it works

edit: seems like the browser is having a a hard time loading the proxy site too.

On Chrome = click on settings, network "change proxy settings", connection" land settings.. if you see any number after clicked land settings delete them leave them blank.. done.. that's how I fixed mine. hope yours work too. ... if still not working, uninstall your Chrome go to the website to reinstall. I did that too, worked for me.

If you didn't install any addons for you browsers and websites still take alot of time to load , then most likely the problem is at your end .

Also you are on WLAN or LAN ?

Edit : clear your browsing cache.

hit the refresh button? hah. or it could be plugins; try incognito mode, it disables all add-ons.
